I hope Alaska Airlines add ANC- FLL in the future with their soon to fly their 737MAX 9 also hopefully Alaska Airlines resume the Seattle-Miami- Seattle services
Very nice video. I understand about the baby and dog. I'm thinking it's a service member and/or their family moving to Alaska. I can't believe it got lighter in the day as later it was, but remembered it was in July. I went to Anchorage from Chicago back in 2007. We left at 845pm, and saw the sunset for over 4 hours where it wasn't getting any darker. Looking forward to your next flight.
My works boss is taking a few of us on a week long camping/hiking/biking/fishing/boating etc trip to Alaska in three weeks. We live in Delaware, I've never been further west than Ohio and Alabama. I CANNOT wait for this trip. Flying out of Philly to Seattle, then this route into Anchorage.
I did the Sea-Anc flight in September. 2:30 pm flight. I got really cheap airfare. The airport and plane was even less crowded. I'm hoping to take the same flight again sometime in spring or summer.
Howdy, absolutely amazing video as always Chris! I have to say, I don’t think they have beat UA yet, but Alaska is definitely one of my favorite airlines in the U.S!😸😻😸
That's so awesome you got to visit Alaska. I've lived here in Alaska my entire life, and Alaska is my favorite airline. SEA is a pretty good airport, but PIT, PDX, and ANC are much better.
wonderful trip review, and love the details! but just as a precaution, I wouldn't be touching the seat cushions too much as the aircraft cleaners (AIC) do not do a thorough job--I can tell you from experience, working in the airline industry, they usually have about 15-20 minutes to clean the plane front to back. Normal domestic turnaround flight time (from inbound arrivals to outbound departures) is 45-60 minutes. Perhaps use gloves next time to keep yourself safe! stay safe out there, and happy traveling!
Hi! So, I'll be making comments thru ur vid. First, I'm already excited, as if I'm on the plane. I enjoyed the airport, part of the vid. I loved it, when you focused on the ground crew and said Nice work guys, hahahahaha,; they weren't doing anything. You've got jokes. You said, the weirdest flight, did you see UAP/ UFO? Guess I'll find out. Back to watching. Alright, a fun an exciting flight/video. Oh, question, how did you know what planes were from what states? I also liked the outside footage, of Anchorage, pretty. Ok all the best Shaun of NYC
I flew from ORD in June of 97 plane left about 930p was late due to thunderstorm any way about 1 hour into the flight sun was streaming into the cabin and when i Flew up from SEA in 98 on a UA 767-300 flew over a cruise ship about a 3rd of the way to ANC
Well good afternoon Chris, how are you? Let me just say, you’re among the best TH-camrs out there! Also, 4 quick questions, when lock down is over, can you please try three flights only if possible. First off, TAP Air Portugal transatlantic and since they belong to Star Alliance, you can use United or Air Canada to position, and then fly LOT short haul, or TAP short haul onwards. Secondly, I’d love to see the SAS long haul economy experience. Lastly, I’m super curious about the PIT-LHR BA flight. My other question is, would you consider HNL to BOS on Hawaiian? Okay, sorry for all of these questions! I’m going to enjoy the video now!
Another spectacular video! Never been on Alaska but loving what they offer. How was the temperature on that arriving time? Do you remember! Amazing job, mate!!!
i remember October 2019 the University of Nebraska Omaha hockey team played Alaska Anchorage and flew Alaska Airlines from OMA to SEA to ANC just to get there
I actually work on the Ramp for McGee Air Services (the contracted company for Alaska Airlines) so if you’d like to know anything about ramp side of stuff let me know.
Another great video! This reminds me of Southwest Airlines. As if there are no screens and it's the same plane model they use. Can't wait for future uploads!
Nice video friend. Hope you can see my comment 🙏: at 23:25 once you get off the plane and get to the boarding doors, do you have to go thru any customs, immigration or any checkpoint with anyone at all? Or are you just good to go? (When traveling from seattle)
seems to be at Anchorage its like going through customs takes longer than it does going through Mexican customs at airports according to itripreport basically it looks like there are tables and lines right at the exit before baggage claim
@@solipskierak It’s mostly people that have just moved there for the first year. I have family members who went to Fairbanks for the Army base and they were constantly complaining of not being able to sleep on a normal schedule for weeks and how they were not alone trying to deal with it. in February 2020 this airport was packed then I saw QFS Aviation's video in March 2020 and the airport was starting to die out before other cities and airport because Seattle was the first major city in the United States to experience a COVID outbreak
