In the 70-80’s my mother was at work overnight, and my father was working a couple jobs. I enjoyed the freedom as a teenager, but I made so many sinful decisions that affected me for a lifetime. Ultimately, they were my decisions and I will be held accountable. But I think, especially today, youth’s minds are being molded (diabolically). Even those who home school and are engaged on a daily basis, have to take extra measures to insulate children. Daily I encounter women (at various hospitals) discuss / complain about their kids and husbands. Medicine in filled with overachieving women (doctors/nurses/pharmacists…) who seem to have no interest in raising their children or being good spouses.

It is so great that His Excellency has such courage to speak the truth. He truly is a man of God that should be the Pope. I grew up in the 60’s and it was exactly as he described, until Vietnam when the entire country changed. And the real kiss of death was the women’s movement - the natural order was deconstructed. Being from Long Island, I live in one of the most morally bankrupt places on earth where materialism rules the land. They drive around in their shiny Tesla’s oblivious to everything except their mirror. So glad I’m leaving.

Born 1946. We were taught that the single life was not a valid choice. When I.was 14 my mother went to work. She was happy to get out of the house but I was thrown into depression. As the oldest I had to get dinner and take care of my sisters - one was 😮nuts!! O.learned much later.that my father was not willing to pay for catholic school tuition. Poor mother. Poor us! Bit we went to.Catholic school. But our family was torn apart. The 60s put an end to my life as a Catholic. I despise the Novus Ordo.

Fr. DeSaye thought that he was very close to joining our position. He certainly seems like a righteous and well meaning man if his words are indicative of his character.

I've been a homemaker/housewife for 14 years and sadly I rarely run into catholic women who are homemakers.

Not a sede (at least not a 58 sede) but one thing to note about Butker’s speech is that the line about priests and dogs is a veiled reference to homosexuality. It is quite common for such men to dress in matching clothes with their dogs and post photos of it. I saw Bishop Sanborn and the host did not pick up on that.

The world is now set up to almost necessitate two incomes unless the man is exceptionally well off. I grew up in a family supported by one Navy enlisted man. Mom went back to work after we were all of age, and only part-time, because she worked with a charity hospital. There were nine of we children, four still living.
I never married, but spent the bulk of my life teaching and quite frankly, raising other people’s children. Try today buying a house or finding a rental and support a wife, grandma, and nine children on an enlisted man’s salary.

What about childless couples that really need two incomes, are the wives still supposed to be a homemaker?

Catholic was Catholic the Laws were clear .Bishop Sanborn can back up everything he says .Bishop Baron is always quoting Cardinal Newman or Aquinas. The Holy Ghost is with Bishop Sanborn .The Feel good conscience is with Baron and you will never feel good because of mortal sin .Respect for the Blessed Eucharist is a must but if you have mortal sin you dont feel like he is present because you are dead inside .

He is NOT NO. He attends TLM with FSSP, but I've been listening to your podcast long enough to know that you consider the FSSP part of the NO since they accept Bergoglio.
