    3. Arrive early.
    4. Talk to everybody. Show you are interested in people
    5. Be yourself.
    6. Prepare to ask questions. Interview them. Prepare 50 questions. Ask until you run out of time.

    I literally viewed this last year when I was in my junior year and now I am a senior, 4 months away from graduating undergrad, and have officially submitted my PsyD applications. So far, I have one interview invite :)

    Thanks for the video and the questions list, it's great! is there any question you can think of that faculty members might ask and I should be prepared to? my interview is tomorrow and i'm pretty nervous!

    • @philsguidetopsyd
      @philsguidetopsyd  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes of course! They might ask you about yourself and you aspirations after graduate school? Maybe about why your specifically choosing the school? They may also give you a scenario of a work/school conflict that you had to deal with and ask you how you navigated your way through. The interview is a chance just so that they can get to know you, have fun! It's normal to feel nervous but I'm sure you'll do great, best of luck!!

    Did you bring copies of your CV to the interviews to hand out? People say to do it but feel kind of extra

    • @philsguidetopsyd
      @philsguidetopsyd  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be honest, I don't remember doing it. I don't think it hurts. Some of my interviews were online and my interviewers were able to pull it up on their computer while interviewing me. If you feel a peace of mind just bringing it in case, it may not hurt. Hope that helps!

    In terms of learning more about the faculty, I applied to a school that has a rather large faculty number so, what would be the best way to tackle this? I am nervous there will be way too many for me to memorize.

    • @philsguidetopsyd
      @philsguidetopsyd  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! I think perhaps choosing 1 or 2 that have similar interests to yours. Usually when the faculty introduces themselves or you look through their profiles on the school website you can find 1 or 2 that you'd like to meet and talk with. Also it wouldn't hurt bringing a notebook and writing down some notes about each faculty member during the interview, then you can always look back on it if you forget any names. Best of luck!
