If he lost the toothpick and long hair he would perform atleast 1% more effectively in the cage. I've seen him have to brush his hair out of his face over a dozen times in one fight. I understand, it's a style/cosmetic thing and he probably doesnt want short hair. Just sharing my opinion.

He always had a toothpick in his mouth WHILE fighting. He quit doing that because he was afraid kids would do the same.
