Maybe in the future you guys might wanna consider adding a storage compartment on the boat it would help anyone wanting to building water bases giving them the option to store building supplies etc. anyways one step at a time looking forward to this game changer update.
i'm fairly new to Deadside and have to say it's nice to see such dedication to the game. The boat clips look awesome! Can't wait to get my hands on one :)

they really added a boat to a game where running is the issue. we should have complained bout having to swim too much then we might have gotten a car. or even a bike
Any news on the “items unavailable” glitch with bodies when they die from a height? My group has run into that issue multiple times, and it really sucks to see your loot in front of you but you cannot pick it up.
Yeah I've had this issue too it happens when bodies roll down hills and I believe this is a client side issue because each person in my squad will see the body having rolled varying distances. Sometimes we end up having to have a squad member move the loot out of the body to the ground.
Needs to be more events and things for people to do, like bosses to kill for rare loot or locations to protect for a certain amount of time from invading NPCs, different NPC types keep things interesting.
I am confused, so originally in the 2022 Deadside Roadmap if I am not wrong they were thinking of adding vehicles, then the devs had a video of a working car, have they abandoned the cars?
will there be any mod implementation for the modding community like allowing server renters to add mods to their servers that their friends could enjoy ?
I"m excited for the boats ?? I just re-built my base on water with a boathouse... hope it big enough, also the water is only bout 1m - shallow. So Loaf, what are your thoughts about the player models being able to in the future going prone so we can snipe from the ground in full guillie gear ?? One last thing how is the best way to reach out to the dev team regarding a specific issue with the game not "lagging" but very similar , its more a stutter and the cursor does not align with the mouse movement. Hey Loaf, the post about the new system the Dev's implemented for feedback didn't actually seem to have info on the best way to give feedback, just saying that there was a system implemented. Do you know if there will be a full server reset? Keys for boats that you can remove? Do boats de-spawn if kept in your base for long periods? Any plans for bikes or more accessible transport for more casual solo players?

from what I understand, at the moment UE5 is pretty unstable, and it would take a very very long time to migrate the game over. So I think the plan right now is to keep working in UE4, and spend that time making more content for the game
Im a Tarkov player. And I really enjoy Tarkov because it has so much stuff in it. I've been looking to play something similar for quite some time now. Nothing got my attention like this game. I think this game has so much potential to be one of the best. I am really looking forward to what this game is gonna look like in a year or less. Kepp up the good work.
Does anybody know if the red areas of the map (not the upcoming islands) will eventually be filled and become playable areas? If so, the map is going to be humongous, but I am not hopeful seeing how slowly the game is updated.
Have they fixed Ai to make them more realistic and not 10 sec toms when you fire at them hide and then they forget about you and are not even in alert mode.
What I find interesting is the people in this region can apparently maintain and fuel boats, but traders can't sell food anymore. They can't sell prepared foods from local game or homemade canned goods?
I’d really like to see more lootable items around the world, because right now it can get kind of stale, more crafting implementations, new and interesting points of interest that have unique items, and more weapon customization ie more scopes, grips, suppressors, maybe even stocks and barrels.

Yep, as any BIG update, all the bases from OFFICIAL servers get wiped, not with custom servers which may keep bases but at the discretion of the admin of those servers.

Hey Loaf I used to play dead side before all the new updates and we'll...the game has gotten worse since. Your suggestions to make the game easier for newer and less geared players made it worse for them. You can't even hardly find food anymore and when you do some guy with an AK just comes and kills you and takes it. The admins on your server actively make the game worse too by not helping newbies or returning players, and by selling food at way to high of a price that only geared people can afford. Nice going. i get why people are mad but honestly id rather have a really solid update like they do even if its delayed dev team has truthfully done a great ass job so far. Love the game , love the content in game and yours. If it needs testing then it needs testing yk it cant be forced out n shitty like most games do.
Why not let the traveling merchant be away to get around the map like have it spawn at several marks on the map and if you go to him you can pay to get you around and are they going to add task like tarkov maybe like kill so many scavs or maybe have loot in only certain level missions and you have a task to grab blank item and that item maybe be only in a epic mission. I think that would be an easy way to get players around the map as of right now while you guys take your time on better transportation.
It didn't need vehicles. It needed less walking simulator. They are not the same necessarily. A heli deployment/extraction system probably could have sped up development, made it far less complex, and solved the issue for everyone. And how cool would that have been. I am somewhat put off by the idea of people zooming around in vehicles in a hardcore shooter, and put off by having to drive around too. Now its just cookie cutter, another PUBG. But I hope I am wrong, still keen on this game taking off and I will try the vehicles regardless.

i played deadside and then i played rust after and man deadside is so DEAD. it's name is so literal. i mean to make up about the player count you could at least make a bunch of content but there isnt! you go in some little villiage and you search a whole damn house to find a singular can of beans and the same pistol youve found a billion times.

You will be stuck inside base 'til the "OWNER" interact with the door. Its stupid. - Its clonky to place walls, foundations and everything feels just MEH. I think you need to remake it again and make it more like Rust. There is a reason why people LOVE to build bases in Rust. Its clean, simple and the Tool Cupboard feature makes it so EVERYONE with buildingpriv can do EVERYTHING. - PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT OF 3 BOXES PER PERSON. - People abuse the RaidToken thing with using alt-accounts to build the base, that way they never drop a raidtoken when pvping. "Oh thats way to complicated!" Yeah mbe... But people do it. Improve Raiding; - If you find a base without codelock you cant do SHIT to the base. Even if there is 6 boxes. You cant interact, destroy or get any loot. It would be SO nice if you make it so players can destroy deployables with melee-weapons even if a RaidToken is not active. A big part in other games is to go "DEEP" on someone. I understand why you dont want that cus of "Doorcamping", but people still doorcamp cus they can get raidtokens from you that way. This is a HUGE turnoff for me. A player can have 3 boxes in the open and noone can interact/destroy them at all. They are immune to other players. How fun is it in the long run to be IMMUNE to raids. A big factor in survival games is the nerve-wrecking moments, adrenalin and fear of losing your shit and satisfaction by getting someone elses loot. - Make it so that you can raid foundations. But maybe make it alot more expensive. This will get rid of the unraidable designs and will make the base-building more fun. Everyone building the same "Kill-Box" nowdays. - Increase the sound of explosives. So the entire map can hear it. -

I wonder if in the future it would be possible to have PVE with PVP zones for example military bases only on my server we do PVP weekends

Official servers do wipe everytime there's a BIG update. Custom like Loaf's one may not, but that's on his discretion only.

unless a server wipe happens, things you store in the safezone on one server should stay there in that server
