(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn
Hello from the USA. I enjoy the videos very much. I enjoy a once in a while detecting adventure myself. Started doing it in the mid 70's. More of a hobby than anything else. Keep the videos coming and thanks.
Friendly tip. When you locate a coin encrusted with sand etc, DO NOT rub it with your fingers. The sand, etc. stuck to the coin will further scratch and damage the coin’s surface. Just take them, put them with the rest of your stash. Keep coins in the same water from which you took it, once you transport it home. The gently try to lightly brush (use a very soft brush) to see if you can identify a date or country - or even the silver or gold content. But don’t rub them. Gold preserves well, but extra scratches can lower value of gold and silver coins by hundreds, even thousands of dollars. Take them to a coin dealership (a trusted one) to get an 'opinion' on what you have, its possible grade condition and estimated auction price. It most cases not wise to try to sell to the dealer. Their buying prices can be a lot less than what you might get on eBay or at an coin auction if you stumble onto a rare coin - especially gold ones. Good hunting. Enjoy your show!

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. I could not help thinking of the stories behind the lost rings, the upset and (hopefully) the joy both of the finder and the recipient of them being returned to the owner . The monetary value is far outweighed by the love behind them.
When I saw the shot of this chap waving his hand, filmed from the point of view of the sea bed, I half expected him to say "Hey guys, look, I have found a cameraman!" Haha

What is the black materiel you expose under the thin layers of sand? Recently I saw you try to dig some coins out partially encrusted in what looked like black tar. Were these recreational areas were you film built with a tar coating to minimize eroding / maintenance. Love your site and every day enthusiasm. I met some of your countrymen in Vietnam years ago; every one of them was a super person (especially when they got lubricated), and we never let them pay at a bar.

*Lol... I once found over ten thousand yen in (stained) coins at an abandoned house while walking through a neighboring village. The vinyl bag containing the money was so decrepid it was rotting back into the soil. Some coins needed to be scrubbed clean before putting them back into circulation. We had great fun, didn't we!?! Stay enchanted. So long. 🐾

I did manage to find a gold ring on Collary beach along with a coin from 1919. I asked the lifeguards if anyone reported a missing ring they said no. Love your beaches ;-)

When you are fanning the sand covering a target I feel like a kid opening Christmas gifts - is it a lousy pair of socks or the pearl ring,I asked for? In your case I'm thinking, is it a pull tab or a diamond ring? I like the anticipation!! Great platinum ring find and money for gasoline!

Go to alum creek beach in Columbus Ohio . It was man made and at one point, caskets washed up on the beach.

Everytime he rubs the coins when they're covered in sand i feel so bad xD dont do that man it can lower the price by a lot even if its gold thus very resistent it has been sitting there for so long that when u rub it it can leave some scratches and you might not be able to see the datas etc so yeah next time you know keep up the vids

What depth are you usually diving, most videos looks rather shallow, (less than 60ft).

I notice you have a few 'fanning" sequences where you wave your hand over the camera while it sits on the bottom. I think a more effective shoot would be to bury the camera first and then do the fanning shoot, uncovering the camera, so we can see action more from the target's point of view.
