Hope it doesn't get replaced with a led fixture but mostly will who knows.
Also there's a HPS fixture at the church around close to my house the light cycles on and off, which means tge bulb needs replacement.

Probably they will replace the lamp only, but I can't know for sure.
Also, could you record and upload that?

    I'm no expert... But...
When it flickers, it probably means that the Sodium lamp is nearing the end of it's service life...
And since the average lifespan of a high-pressure Sodium lamp is 16.000+ hours or more it's advised to replace the lamp before it dies out...
Unless the lamp fixture will be replaced with a cutting board (LED lamp fixture)...

This sign usually does not appear often on HPS lamps, they usually turn on and off after a few seconds or a few minutes and in very rare cases it does not even show a circle, once there was an HPS far from my house that was visible from 800 meters and I could see it and it was working normally and at some point the next day I did not see it turn on, probably the lamp had a bad ending or maybe the ballast or ignitor had burned out and unfortunately it was replaced in August 2023 with LED and it was beautiful with HPS it was visible from afar :( and I have seen HPS EOL that turns on after about a minute with a slight MV tint and immediately appears with a normal yellow tint and then 20 seconds before it turns off the brightness starts to decrease and after another 3-4 seconds it turns off and this phenomenon repeats itself over and over as I see it for at least 4 years doing the same thing until at some point it will burn out and not turn on at all like another HPS and It's probably a 600 or 1000W that's next to this EOL that did the same thing until recently I didn't see it turn on and now it's dead :( and unfortunately there's only one HPS left that still works and maintains the light in almost the entire area of the station, but sometimes it shows EOL symptoms but it's the only one that still works, the last one is now EOL
