when I see a black screen on a laptop the 1st thing I always check is if its been set to output to an external screen, then I take a flash light to the screen to see if there is an image, if there is then its a backlight issue which is usually the inverter, if its not then I look deeper, this is where this presentation comes in, which is a great presentation, a lot of detail is covered here which will be a valuable resource to anyone who wants to make the effort to learn this skillset.

Thank you for such an informative video. Could you please clarify for me -- on my Clevo W110ER MOBO there are 2 of such marked bios chips -- U15 and U41. What are the next steps we could perform to determine which of these is the bios chip?
Thank you so much, I have a question, why don't you make the extension of the files visible and then hit F2 to rename the file and select the extension and change it to bin?? do you think that will work?
Sir can we measure high voltage of PF with multimeter because the meter high voltage only 1000volt but PF capacitor is more than 1000volt .the value is 1800volt etc so we can test or not with multimeter
@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb thank you so much sir.. but why sir they install this high voltage (1800 volt PF capacitor) in motherboard or circuit board to hight above the multimeter voltage
Hello. God bless you for the great tutorials. I have Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 15 (NP950XED). When powered on, keyboard lights up and then goes off, fans start spinning as cpu gets hot. It charges and discharges fine. Power button responds. There is no post or no display whatsoever. I have flashed bios with programmer with different bins, still no post and no display at all, even to external monitor. Bios chip only gets voltages when power button is pressed and laptop turns on. Bios Chip has no voltage when turned off and not running. Also, only 3.3v and Main Power Rail/Battery voltages are Present Always when pc is off. 5v power rail only comes on when the pc turns on. I can't seem to fix the issue. Can't find schematic diagram anywhere. I need help. (It is i7 12th Gen). Power LED Constantly flashing blue (on and off)
Please help me sir.. my laptop strangely turn off itself after 30 minute ... Even in bios mode... More strange is if i turn it to sleep mode at minute 29 and then wait for 2 minute then resume it, it will normal again for another 30 minute and so on....

That's the breakdown voltage of the capacitor, not matter to measure it

Great video and super explanation!
Amazing as always
Thanks again!

Thanks for the video training bro
No problem 👍
In the case where you have two bios on a motherboard, how do you calculate it?
And while reprogramming how do you do that?
the fallback bios chip is a backup and can be an identical copy , so you you only calculate the one.
Nice course, thank you
Glad you like it!
Very nice🎉❤😊
Thank you! Cheers!
thanks bro for infarmation 👍
Always welcome

Can I use 12 v charger
Could black screen startup also be caused by failed PCH? Keyboards have lights, charges, but do not start. Processor cold.
Yes could be
Thanks for this video. But, it didn't help for my problem. Can you show me "how To Fix Bios ME Region Problem" later, maybe another video?

Yes Super IO
@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb thanks sir
Do you have any courses on Udemy? If not you should.
Sir, make video on bios editing and ami bios
As soon as possible
pin 8 has 3.3v..pin 3 doesn’t have 3.3v..what does it mean?
3.3v is always present in pin 8 in all states S0,S1,S3...
Your voice not clean
Sorry about that
