Hi everyone, thank you for identifying that 3 JRL stations were labelled wrongly in my earlier JRL upload. I corrected the mistakes in this video. Hope you all enjoy the video : )
Wow! The construction seems to be advancing pretty well. That's great! [unrelated] why does Singapore has so many extra large 6 lane roads?! With the metro line now coming I strongly hope for the city to reconsider it's urban design choices. Sg shouldn't be only for the wealthy car-owners. The city should reduce the width of many of its roads and instead increase the size of sidewalks/pavements and build PROTECTED bike lanes (DO NOT just paint in the road and call it a bike lane!). This will naturally discourage people from using cars and chose the bike or public transport instead. Look at the Netherlands and France for inspiration on good practices in design that makes our cities more livable
I think that is a great suggestion! Going forward with the JRL and Cross Island MRT lines are completed, many households and workplaces are connected by the MRT and the gov can consider converting some of the roads lanes for other uses

I always had the notion Singapore’s MRT is longest in Asia or SEA. Wrong. In 1984, Shenzhen’s mayor came to learn the system. They started building in 2009, in 15 years they surpassed Singapore and is 2.5 times longer. Singapore ranks 15th next to Taiwan. China MRT ranks first by world’s mileage. USA/UK not even close. So, Singapore’s corky attitude should take a breather
@@SGYap clean? Still in last century on chewing gum boast? Most all newer MRT are clean, China, Taiwan and maybe Philippines… Only the western nations are filthy. Spore killed the HSR project to make USA/Japan happy? Now they do some JB link to substitute .
@@SGYap indeed. I just don't understand the hate people have on our transport. Why does it matter if our city has the longest rail line? How does longer train lines imply a better metro system? Yes, our rail system is not perfect, but it gets the job done from getting us from point A to point B efficiently. For example, if I live in the west and I want to visit the Bugis street, there's the east west line. 40 minutes of travel and I am already there.
Great video! I would love to visit Singapore someday. Such a beautiful country and amazing infrastructure behind built.
Mr Yap great video! Get to really see the progress of the JRL.
Thank you very much for your compliment : )

The JRL will make it easy for many residents or people working in the western part of Singapore to connect to the EWL and NSL

Very nice! I hope you will also upload other constructions in Singapore. I love seeing them.
Thanks.
Thank you! It will be difficult for me to find the time to film other constructions. I mainly focus on RTS, JRL and Tanah Merah MRT upgrading
When the J151 comes "Hej i am here for debut"!
Nice sharing ❤

While Singapore's MRT might not be the longest in Asia, it's still well-regarded for its efficiency and cleanliness
