Feels so weird seeing chapman pitch for them near the end of games. I never in my wildest dreams thought id see the pirates have a big name player like that. This team gives me hope. Last season 20-8 broke my heart. As has the past 30+ years of my existence and growing up watching them. I had the steelers and penguins to help the wounds.😅 but hopefully this summer is a good one for baseball for pitt! Lets go!
I'm happy, but everyone needs to be cautious on the optimism after last year's start. They threw up a metric last year about how the Pirates finished the season after getting off to such a hot start, and the team did almost the opposite. They need to take care of a rebuilding Nationals team, then buckle their seatbelts for a tough O's squad.
