@@chadhoskin4983 I actually hate this kind of thing, its not natural at all, everytime i see someone place a camera down then walk past like they dont know the camera is there really irks me, there is no real need as it adds nothing as everyone knows you set the scene up, the whole point is your getting a natural shot of you oblivious that the camera is there, its kind of like a magic trick but you already know how its done....its not magic anymore

Looks beautiful! Almost went to andorra before I went to saint jean pied depprt. But transportation and lodging wasn't working out. It's beautiful though! I hear they are also the test market for a lot of tech companies. So you can probably find some good tech stuff, phones, computers, cameras etc there for great prices.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Candanchu is a cool ski resort you should check out next time you're in that part of Spain. Very close to the border with France. You can take the lifts up in the summer time and get awesome views
Nice man - cool hike to have shared - as for the sandles comments - when i went to Annapurna base camp in 87 - i tagged along with an Italian couple who had a sherpa /local guy carrying their rucksacks and he only had a pair of flip flops and bare feet ( they did give him a pair of socks when we got to the snow /frost line ! ) - he kept having to fix them by melting and sticking together the piece that sticks between your big toe - they as you know are truly mountain people
the magic of Andorra is in the colder months though, its a snow white catalan winterland....truly beautiful. The tropical latinoamerican music in the background was a bit weird though in this alpine scenery

Hi Gabriel, The first people you ask about the told you it would be a 2 hour hike. You definitely need something easier to walk around in feet moves around to much in those sandals. Those ski poles would also be a good form of protection against any snakes or dogs. I saw where there are 13 types of snakes in Spain 5 are venomous.
long time ago, clothing, electronics and such stuff was really cheap in Andorra, we Spaniards used to organize trips just to buy a camcorder, or a vcr or whatever. You had to hide it to avoid paying a tax crossing the border back to Spain. There was also a black market industry around tobacco, it was cheaper there and some people made a living smuggling tobacco into Spain. Those days are gone.
What a fantastic hike! Glad you made it to your lake objective this time. The Pyrenees scenery is out of this world. Your video reminded me of Richard Hartfield's great videos on TH-cam of the Haute Pyrenees Route. By the way, plenty of GR long distance trails go through Andorra- including the GR7 and the GR11- its worth investigating on the internet. Those white and red painted waymarks indicate the route of GR trails. Really looking forward to your next hike!

There is another lake that does not need an extreme hike to those who prefer light hiking, it is called Llac Engolasters in Encamp.
