- New Edition performing "Can You Stand The Rain" Live at the Oracle Arena in Oakland California on June 23, 2012. I've been waiting since I was a kid to see these Icon's! What a fabulous show!. A little disappointed that Tony! Toni! Tone! left abruptly after only singing two songs....They were a big part being our local heroes..
Love how Ralph gets in and out of step so fluidly and easily.
Love Rizz. His voice and moves is so smooth. He never misses a step. He owns his craft. Ronnie can dance his behind off.

There is a reason Ralph has and always will be the front man of New Edition, he had something Bobby Brown could never give to a group, professionalism and he was always fluid and natural on stage. It was effortless for him to be front and center. Thats a gift..

Also, N.E. is not young here. They're singing the whole song live. None of this stick the microphone out into the audience business because the group members can't/won't hit the notes or they forgot the words. Real performing! I love NE forever!

I completely agree that New Edition was modeled after Jackson 5! But that's not the point. NKOTB, N Sync and Backstreet Boys went on to make a lot more money and are still making money on big tours. New Edition got ripped off by their manager/producer who was also NKOTB's manager and the group didn't/ and don't make as much money.
what about Hi Five , Boyz 2 Men , Day 26 , etc...
idk what kind of world you live in, but none of those boybands make as much money now as you think, bsb do concerts on cruise ships lol. BSB also had thier money taken from them by lou pearlman. nsync broke up aswell and only justin stayed wealthy. BSB also sing and dance well. Honestly, NE had bigger careers individually than any of those boybands, them being black allowed them to cross into many different genres, as rap and r&b was at thier height as a new thing in the early 90's. you shouldnt say NE never got their credit, their real fans know what they did. NE wouldve made a lot more money had they read thier contract in the beginning which is thier fault.

Jeez! especially Ralph! I found me a Ralph and his real name was David, but he dumped me because he got tired of me trying to make him act like Ralph lol! I remember those days so young and dumb.
