Already looking forward to the next time our paths cross and we get to spend more time with one another. And yes!! Time to sit and knit with one another! 😂

    Hi Megha, it is always so nice to enjoy your walking us viewers through the events and meet ups, feels very much like one joined. Your yarn purchases gave nice inspiration, the colored four ply island yarn made me think, you could use it for embroidery on knits, it would showcase the colors...🤗😊 so now chill, knit and relax...bye till your next podcast.🎉

    • @leslienero7884

      It's called Nancy's Vest, by Carol Sunday. Truth be told I did not enjoy the pattern, but I love the vest, am actually wearing it now, but over 2 layers so it's not itching me yet. I couldn't understand why she wanted one to do what she was asking, though I guess it has to do with the A-line shape. I love that the button band is done while doing the body, but the last little bit that goes behind the neck is a bit fiddly. @@skeinsofdreamsknits

    Hi Megha, your weekend sounds busy and mostly fun. I wonder if you think that podcasters mainly come away from the weekend feeling like they have met many people and feeling a part of a bigger group, or if you think the regular knitter would feel similarly?

    • @skeinsofdreamsknits
      @skeinsofdreamsknits  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Beth! I agree that the podcasters meet a lot of people because of the videos. I went two years ago with friends and it was less about meeting people and I still had an amazing time. I think going with one or two friends makes it a wonderful trip! We always meet more people at the festival at booths and events. But to make friends, I feel the interactions have to be longer and we have to make that happen 🙂

    Hello, I really enjoy your podcast very much. I just wanted to add a note about the Sonder yarn and why the yarn you have may not be as soft as the Ecru base. The regular Sunday morning DK is dyed on a blend of Bfl and natural brown masham and the Ecru is dyed on Bfl and a natural white masham. As I personally like natural non superwash wool, I have found that yarn spun from brown fleeces unless it's a merino or cormo is rougher. I don't really know why that is but maybe a spinner or someone with more knowledge of sheep breeds or fleece could explain 😊. This has just been my experience.
