Haliburton is going through what Harden was going through after the 2021 playoffs. Them hamstring injuries are cooking their athleticism and its messing up their game. Harden hasn't been the same since 2021...
@@futurefox635 Luka has been dealing with injuries same with embiid. Haliburton hasn't been consistently good since January, entirely different circumstances
The injury take doesn’t acknowledge the fact that he only plays poorly on the road though. If he was actually hurt why would it only affect road games and not home games?
Regardless of this stretch & injury, with shot mechanics that ugly you are always at higher risk to slump BAD. He's got a *tough* road to keep it running smooth long-term

I said this would happen last year when he went down with that injury. I said he'd never be the same. People were glazing him so hard at that time too.
Yea good points but everyone in the nba is injured. Hali is a case of being on the top of everyone’s scouting report now. Not gonna be as easy now your a 2x all star
Thank you !!! People have been confusing load management with injury!! Like pg hyperextended his same knee meaning there’s a stability issue and he was never healed, people want to be so quick to say if you get paid you gotta okay but then scrutinize these players when they play bad, there bodies is there money !!!
That's actually insulting to compare the '24 Pacers to the '19 Blazers and the '21 Hawks. At least Portland and Atlanta can say they faced healthy competition en route to the conference finals
Say he's had a strained hamstring for like 8 months, reinjuring it multiple times and whatnot...that's a LONG time! I wonder if there's a length of time for muscle damage where it can actually have long-term implications - like it never heals quite the same? Muscle tissue and tendons that anchor it are all complex living tissue - i don't think there's any guarantee it'll always grow back the same after trauma.
Beginners luck ran out of juice.. he hasn't accomplished anything, has one of the worst shooting form currently in nba, but acting like hes a franchise player coz he made the all-star
Tyrese may have had a slump but he's still very Important. Dont Forget last season Indiana went to the ECF and to the IST Final so they've just come up short. Halibuton will improve as the season continues. I have alot of belief in him
That's what happens once some of these guys get those big contracts, (and those freak Instagram honeys start sucking on their toes) and the players waste no time spending the money like they are printed it down their basements. lol.
So they got rid of Kawhi with a bs story about him being hurt but covered this story up and let Tyrese stay even though he was hurt & couldn’t play. Fucking bs hypocrisy.
I actually agree with this take. Hali has not been himself since that injury and idk wtf it is with these teams mismanaging player injuries but it needs to stop. We’ve seen it with the spurs/clippers with Kawhi, I.T.’s hip injury with Boston, and so many more it’s crazy
Kind of unrelated, but about the rules that the NBA put in place regarding star players resting prior to last season, are they still in effect this year? I’m wondering because at the start of the season when the Sixers said Embiid was healthy but would not play back to back games, it didn’t seem like the NBA was doing anything about it, but that would not have been the case last season
its not an injury. The guys more chaotic than the Tasmanian devil. Defenders are just letting him spin his way into the ground and throw up a bad shot when he doesn't get clear of the defender. His hero ball was just scouted and players went ohhhh just let him run around like an idiot and stay in'front of him, that's easy
Why would the warriors draft him with Curry?? The Wiseman situation was unfortunate but Haliburton makes no sense. Dude is one of the few players in the league that can only play one position, a PG
If you know basketball and watched his game you’d know that he’s isn’t an actually scorer. Tyrese is more a pure PG/playmaker. He’s truly not an 18-22 point scorer!
Back on the Kings they tried to say would they keep him or Fox , then last year they picked him over Trae as an all star I just knew the hype was too much , he’s really not like that
We don't have buddy hield Bruce brown and nwora anymore. It's just bad team chemistry. We've dealt with more injuries than any other team in the nba. Plus Netflix has a camera watching him play every game because of that starting 5 he's in this season.
This is why I hate the 65 game rule nba fans today, maybe just lower the the game count but players can’t keep playing thru injuries without consequences, like pg the other night hyperextended his kneee again the same knee showing there’s a stability issue meaning he never healed, then get scrutinized when they don’t play well when there body is compensating and leading to more injuries !!!
Maybe he's going through personal issues (troubles with his girlfriend, partying too much, family drama etc.), which is affecting his play. I think that Hali will bounce back from this slump.....
I traded him away for Zach Lavine in yahoo fantasy! Hali really doesn’t look right. Watch how he runs back on defense, notice how it looks like his lower body is compensating for the injured hamstring. Also look at how he jacks his 3 pointers up, you can tell the power in his legs is not there forcing him to push his upper body more to reach the distance. Not hating, just saying he’s still healing and that could take a shut down to complete that.
