Thank you, Mac. Just got back from a ride (60 miles) and they work pretty well. 60 degrees here today.

      @@MarksGarage17 Nice riding weather.

Looks good. When open, do they direct engine heat or outside air onto you? And where does the air hit you?

Good question-Here's what I've learned and what I can share. On a hotter day, leave them shut, otherwise radiator exhaust heat comes toward the rider. On cooler days, you can open the vent one click to receive a little of the radiator heat. Or, just leave closed for overall protection. It truly is a little trial and error based on your weather. (It's kind of fun figuring that out). I notice that the air deflection hits me at the knee and top of thigh. hopefully, that answers your question.

@@MarksGarage17 Thanks, Mark. That's exactly what I wanted to know.

You didn't mention anything about the double sided tape.

@@alsaint7944 Correct. I decided to just utilize the two screws to fix the deflector to the bike. Seems to be just fine and will be easier to remove down the road. I felt it was easier to install without the adhesive grabbing the plastic and making it harder to line up the two screw holes.
Kind of discovered this while test fitting without peeling back the adhesive. Hope this helps explain.

Is this because the Honda Lower Air Deflectors suck? I just bought them and was just about to install them when I saw this! HELP!?!?!

Hi Dennis-Let's see if this can help you out. I originally installed the lower air deflectors from Honda. After a 1500-mile trip, I noticed that the top attaching screw with wellnut was loose? On both sides. I took everything apart and reinstalled, and it came loose again. Both sides They may work ok for you but after having replaced them with these adjustable deflectors, I would recommend them over the Honda lower deflectors. And the adjustable deflector install with just the two screws. I did not use the adhesive tape. There is quite a bit of work to install the Honda deflectors, like removing the OEM panels and drilling 6 holes per side.
