    Used my Stealth G single pedal at a gig last weekend. Incredibly smooth!! I needed to make an adjustment since the kick at the venue was a 24 (I’m usually on a 22) so the hoop tightener being above the pedal made it so much easier to take it off and change the height to where I needed it. I will definitely have to grab the double for this at some point!!

    I won the single from you guys at PASIC 16 and it's fantastic, definitely the smoothest pedal I've played. I've been using the 6700 Chain Drive pedal for a few years as my double pedal and love it as well, but I'd love to see a Stealth G Direct Drive Pedal someday because I'd totally pick that up. Gibraltar would really stand out by offering direct drive options on their midrange and higher range pedals, seeing as the 6700 direct is a great seller and the newly added direct drive for the 9700 G Class is also being well praised. Almost all of the hardware I own is Gibraltar and it is by far the most rock-solid and efficient hardware out there!!

    I like the way to connects to the kick hoop

    Been looking into getting back into drumming and this looks like a lot of bang for the buck. The last pedal I had was a Pearl Demon Drive, it felt great but I don't want to drop that kind of cash. The independent beater angle and footboard adjustment is a killer feature, a d the way this connects to the hoop is very innovative and practical.

    Does this pedal have that knob on the hoop clamp that can loosen or tighten the clamp on the bass drum hoop like the G class pedal does? It's like to finely dile in the grip on the wood hoop.

      @GibraltarHardware  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this has a fine tuning screw at the top of the hoop clamp that will allow you to tighten it further

    Love the Brent bobble head in the kick! Do you guys make pedals with a direct drive instead of chain drive?

      Their 6700 and 9700 G Class pedal have a direct drive version, and the new tour series pedal does as well.

    Just got these pedals in the mail. I’m trying to adjust the beater height and loosened the screw above the spring tension as shown in the video but can’t seem to get the adjustment to stay when I tighten it back up. It just goes back to the same place it was. What am I doing wrong? Just trying to get both beaters even

    • @JakeStaffin
      @JakeStaffin 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Keep the spring straight, so that the screw is facing directly upward, when you've loosened it to change the beater height, as sometimes it may angle the slightest bit while you're tightening it down. It can be bit tricky for fine adjustments but that's the case with every pedal, just requires patience.

    can the left "double pedal" be used as a spare single pedal?

    • @verminking666
      @verminking666 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. :(

    • @alexanderqbe
      @alexanderqbe 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it can, but in order to do that you gotta disassemble the left beater holder from the main pedal, unscrew the bearing holders (allen screws) from the left pedal , place the beater holder on the shaft and reposition the spring from the right to the left. A lot of allen screws to work with. Sounds hard, but doable, I've done it before with similar pedal. The left pedal of course will not have a hoop clamp.

    • @crimsun7186
      @crimsun7186 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      So no. You can only do that with the Pearl Demon Drive double pedal, since it has the hoop clamp on the slave pedal and most of the parts are screwed on the base plate.

      beast1909 it’s still an active item. Our site is being updated and should be done very soon. The site you are currently looking at has not been updated since 2014. No products that have been created in the last 3 years have been added. The new site will launch very soon.

    What's the differences between this and the G-Class?

    • @GibraltarHardware
      @GibraltarHardware  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Joabe Rios the major two differences are how the hoop clamps function and how the spring is tightened. The Stealth pedal uses a wing nut to tighten the hoop clamp (but at the top of the frame rather than at the bottom of the frame), and also used a standard style spring tension mechanism. The G Class uses a helix mount under the pedalboard which works like a ratchet. The spring tension is also adjusted with a wheel that you spin with your finger.

    Looks good but nothing will beat the 9000

    • @larrytate1657
      @larrytate1657 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah the 9000 just is very smooth. The heavy beaters help to control it. I tried light beaters on it once and I lost too much control. Need to stay with the heavy stock dw beaters.

    Almost like my 9611SD-DB: the same spare parts in construction & almost same features, exept smooth footboard.
