Canada is best for choice according to work and study and earing money as well as facilities and UK is good different nations their own advance but Canada
In Canada, most of the country's population sits within 150 miles of the US border. Like 99% percent of it. Therefore, the density per square mile becomes around 88-400 people per square mile depending on which city you are in within 150 miles of the US.Studied this in uni, the statistics you are using considers all of Canada but most of Canada in the north is empty, frozen mountain and flat areas full of oil and natural resources but not used for human settlement and therefore Canada is really not that spread out. Only workers and wild animals live in the north half of the country.
The UK temps are understated massively. Those temps should be 6C higher, across the whole range for its cities. London sees nearly 40C most years, including from the year used here. 38C in 2020 / 39C in 2019, etc, etc.
Good content, thanks for your efforts. From an Indian, Bangladeshi, Pakistani immigrants point of view, UK will always be first choice if any opty available, the only problem is much tougher and extremely expensive process.
As a UK resident, Don't come to the UK . Its grim, expensive, overcrowded and poor quality of life. If you can, aim for Canada, US, Australia, New Zealand. All these countries have a better quality of life. The only downside to Canada is that its effing cold.
I don’t think it’s that cold XD honestly if you want to live out the season at their full potential come to Canada, I feel like people forget that we also have warm summer.
Let me tell you my personal experience. We had gone for vacation to New Zealand, weather was warm and balmy there. Temperature used to be in the 20s, and sunny (it was February). Flying back, our flight approached Vancouver. The announcer said, "Welcome to Canada, it is zero degrees and snowing." When I heard that, it gave me a warm, homey feeling. Yes, that indeed is Canada. With ontario suffering the longest lockdown in the western world, and for no real reason, with our vax numbers well on target now, I have three, separate friends and neighbours who got fed up with the insanity and moved back to the UK.
Uk is much much better, this average salary talk is overrated, ie: on most charts it shows oslo/copenhagen pay less than london, however, london pays way less, toronto shows salaries are more, but uk pays way more
As a canadian whos parents are from the uk, you may as well come here its way more space, very quiet and clean, most people love it except the cold, i shovel snow in my t shirt because i belong in the artic so its perfect. Plus ill shovel your driveway if you mow ny lawn when its 🔥 😁
You don't want to move here. Vancouver is so diverse to the point where there is no language. People on the buses from different countries do not make any effort to speak English which is rude in my opinion. You need time off to go see the beauty here and people here are too occupied working crazy hours to establish an economic foothold. It is absolutely nuts. People are somewhat friendly but vast majority are stand off ish and reserved to themselves.
Now, Canada gives 2 years work permit to anyone who is willing to live and work in Atlantic Canada. High school education is enough. After 2 years, you can get Canadian PR. 200,000 Sri Lankan Tamils are coming to Canada.
Very informative and helpful video.. however cost of living criteria comparison would make sense if we talk about average salaries in both the countries too.

After married, i moved from Canada to Texas. Thanks to God! I am more happy now. Thinking of Canada it is just an extremely cold country! I will never look back again!
Yeah our country is a bit over- rated. Canada is only an okay country if you're born there. But it's stoopid and wrong the way its government lures immigrants to Canada, promising them the elusive "Canadian experience." Also, many Canadians hate the immigrants, even though their country needs the immigrants to inject money into their small economy.
The UK gets much hotter than that during the summer & is generally much hotter than even these warmest parts of Canada in summer. London alone gets a maximum of close to 40C most summers. Even Manchester in the north west would be closer to 35C alone. Even at those underquoted max UK temperatures you have quoted there, the summer temps are already the same between both nations. Plus, furthermore, it generally hardly ever goes down to 0C, let alone below it. Even for the absolute lowest temperature on a few nights in winter, it's usually always above zero.
Canadian summers are much hotter because most cities are located in a lower latitude than the UK. Even though London does get hot in the summer it is not as long, however it is not uncommon to have a month where the temperature is above 30 degrees in Toronto and there is even a desert in Canada where the temperature is above 35 degrees for almost 2 months. Definitely Canada is more extreme in both cold and hot.

@@Nik_anduyot Sad truth is, no one in other countries really cares about you once, you move to Canada. There is no social life, if that's what you are looking for, to waste your time with. Friendships are fake, for the most part, based on favours, and the people love to be two-faced (as in most countries). It's okay if you're an introvert.
@@Nik_anduyot London is an expensive, smelly, crap hole. People can be very rude and nasty. The further you are from London, the less expensive it will be. But if nothing else, you have pub culture. It might be also easier to meet a dating partner or potential spouse in London than in Toronto, especially if you're a gay....er I mean a guy. Not that people in London are very friendly overall, but people in Toronto can be very cold and insular, not all nice and friendly like the tired, fake stereotype. Particularly Anglo Canadian women, who tend to prefer their own kind. If you're not a white Canadian man with a Canadian accent, they might find you "creepy" with a "weird" accent. Even if a Canadian woman were to say, "I like your accent", they might be just saying what they don't mean, as some women do, and in reality just mean: "Where are you from? I'm not really interested in you but I will pretend to be your friend if I can get something out of you, and if there is something in our friendship for me." You won't know where you stand with her, and in general, you wouldn't be able to flirt much with a Canadian woman compared to a European or especially an American woman. The Canadian woman in that situation might see you as a threat, you could even get a harassment charge. English girls can often be cold, fugly, and snobbish, but they will have lots of energy. London is perhaps more of an international hub than Toronto, so you can meet people from many international walks of the world, not just British people. But the USA has a much better social life than either Canada or UK. Prices (on everything) are usually much better than both, too. California is beginning to suck for some, and many Americans want to leave there and move to Florida, or another state with a "grass is always greener" mentality. Canadians, (and Brits too) love to shop (because of the low prices) and vacation in the States incl. California and Florida, even though they pretend to hate America. Very telling.
I moved from UK to Canada, and he has given a fairly accurate picture of the two countries. But he hasn't given the complete story. Crime rate is higher in UK, cost of living also is higher. House prices in UK of course are higher, but the houses are much smaller, and many don't have the basement. Also in UK, cars in general are smaller, roads are narrower and winding. Canada, the roads are wider and go straight for a long time (Canada has much more space than UK). Gas (Petrol, in UK) is more expensive in UK. The only big disadvantage of Canada I can think of is the weather, some people find it too cold. If you cannot stand cold weather, Canada is not the place for you. But otherwise, Canada has many advantages over UK.
@@vinay77898 I should think that would be possible. I was working in UK when I applied for a job in Canada. When I got the job, I applied for immigration (or rather, the company that hired me applied). But I don't think there would be any problem recognizing British qualification in Canada.

The roads are bigger but have you seen the putholes? There is not much road left.

Yeah our country is a bit over- rated. Canada is only an okay country if you're born there.
But it's stoopid and wrong the way its government lures immigrants to Canada, promising them the elusive "Canadian experience."
Also, many Canadians hate the immigrants, even though their country needs the immigrants to inject money into their small economy.

@@WheresYourToque so you think london is better than toronto for social life and girls??
I'm not really interested in you but I will pretend to be your friend if I can get something out of you, and if there is something in our friendship for me."
You won't know where you stand with her, and in general, you wouldn't be able to flirt much with a Canadian woman compared to a European or especially an American woman.

Hello How are you doing today
