Thank you to Chris for the update on all the babies! They really are growing up so fast! I think they are all precious, but little Nina has stolen my heart! She is so sweet. The boys probably won’t hang around much as they get older; but Jenny and Nina will likely stay around like Lucy does.

A friend of mine in Alabama was bow hunting just inside the woods alongside a watermelon field. A group of does and young ones were in the field and one of the younger deer picked up a piece of melon rind and started trotting around with it. A few others chased alongside and then the deer with the rind lowered it's head and whipped it up flinging the rind into the air. He said they ran around playing football with that rind. He'd been hunting all his life and had never seen the like! Love watching your deer...so cool when the fawns are feeding and they are wagging their tails.

Thanks for the video, Jimmy. This lifted me after a bad day. My partner in crime, my 10 year old German Shepherd, passed on late last night or early this morning. I am just bummed out. I gave my friend a proper burial. My 17 year old son helped me dig my friend's grave. I will miss my buddy. I've had many friends though out my 50 + years , canine and feline, but it never gets any easier when they pass on. Again, thank you!
Just today wrote down a scripture for the new devotional book. (Proverbs 12:10). A righteous man regards the life of his animal! We had to put down Daisy our 11 year old yellow lab a while back. They are a member of the family. Know how you feel. May God Bless! jimmy

😘😘😘. Chris you certainly caught some beautiful Kodak moments this week. We need more from you and your view of what’s going on. All the deer know your voice along with the jovial voice of Jimmy. Such a beautiful sight having them resting and running on that beautiful grass and hearing the sounds of a storm coming. You turned this into a very relaxing video and I’m certain I will watch again. Yep I agree about okra. It’s great in the beginning then oh hum work later. But fresh cut okra is so good ya just suck it up and start picking. Love to see more of your garden and if a high tunnel in the future. Certain the deer get their share. Looks like Lucy has shown the babies what to eat instead of just nursing all three. Yep she’s been an ideal momma. Seeing them all run freely now reminds me that hunting season soon begins and for many out in the woods this may be their last. Got to trust the Lord cuz He knows the plan of life for animals. Along with Lucy on the porch we can look out in awe. You’ve done your part making their life precious and sharing all these Kodak moments for some who never have such an experience on your ranch. Super video and welcome back Jimmy. It was a joy to see them frolicking like they did. If you don't pick it, you will end up with foot long pods. I love fresh cut okra and find tiny okra sliced raw into a salad is delicious. Thanks for the nice video, I love to watch them run.
