This is such a peculiar band. Their music is like every imaginable metal and goth cliché put together, but it's done so well, that it lefts you with feeling of a great energy and amazement, not awkwardness.
Lyrically is seems like we 're in the mind of a school shooter at the time of the incident and what led to this. Intense stuff...personally speaking for me on number of reapeats alone , album of the year. What do you get when you combine post punk/goth like Killing Joke, Mission, Pink Turns to Blue e.t.c with classic metal like Metallica, Slayer "seasons era" , Queensryche "Mindcrime"? ...apparently this gem. With zero fat, tight song writting without a second of filler material ,all songs clocking up to 4 minutes, immersive-brilliant vocal delivery, good musicianship, strong lyrics and matching aesthetic. I hope the future rewards these guys and their efforts.

I love this band and this song, but always filed this under “difficult to listen to” because the lyrics/sound effects are seemingly from the perspective of the disturbed shooter. Another great tune from ‘Strength’. The devil is truly in the details - the gun click, when the trem picking joins the song, the breakdown, the solo - and they’re working with Arthur Rizk too. Genius!
If these guys knows the stuff from Finnish metal legend Sentenced, I wonder. Loved the spirit of gothic vocals combined to some nordic elements. Good job!
Idle hands really outdid themselves with this tune, Gabes vox commands attention which we havent seen since the late Peter Steele or Gold for the Woods fans. We see in this song maturity as a band and of course the phenomenal abilities of Spyder Silva, who is a great melodic lead. This album will kill.
@@jetblackriverType O Negative, The Romanes. These guy are more Emo than any “Emo band”. They sing about some brutal, subject matter. And it’s weird but listening to it feels cathartic. Like stand in a warm rain.
Gabe’s singing voice is like a droning monotone. It’s awesome. You don’t really hear a lot like it. I am a fan of Ypres. I kind see it now that you mention it. He does have the low pitched doom-metal sounding voice.
In today’s age where every band is putting out bullshit to keep up.. these guys focus on actual songwriting and emotional connections.. THE best fucking band around today.. and we don’t deserve them..

I feel they are a mixture of Judas Priest & The Sisters Of Mercy
