This resembles deeply with the story of the game God of War. How a brutal killer Kratos, who burned the whole city of Greece and its Gods and people just because they hurt his feelings. They very same Kratos, after becoming a father himself, is completely transformed into a peace loving man who can forgive anyone and can also kill someone in a heartbeat, afterall he was a former God of War himself.
