The school of friendship might have been forced product placement but it gave us some of my favourite characters in the series ever, we needed more of them before the show ended and I will gladly die on this hill if I must. Your take is one billion percent valid.
Silverstream, Smoulder and ocellus are my favorite out of the student six. Sad that the student six didn't get more episodes in season 8 and 9.... Poor ocellus is the most underdeveloped. I am glad that the young six did get some comic to all about them
@@WildFirePhoenix96 the comics, and most external material outside the show fits into a cosy little category I like to call "canon if it suits me", where you can just shove whatever material you like wherever you think it should go.
Young Six (or Student Six as I call them) are the best edition to the series. I love them so much in this episode especially Yona and Smolder as my favorite. I just wish the writers did more development for them throughout Season 8 and 9 instead of them being put in the back burner and having the Mane 6 being too much centered. (Although I also wish we had more of Starlight because she is the best.) Or just introduce them earlier around S6. At least that way they would had been developed throughout the later seasons which would give them a purpose for the Season 9 Finale. Nonetheless, I love this episode although I will say Twilight and her friends are just absolutely stupid for NOT HIRING TEACHERS TO RUN THE SCHOOL!! Especially in the early stages of Season 8 because it will bite them in the rear end down the road.
@@MLPDymosOkay, I know the Mane 6 have a purpose to run the school but I am just saying The Student Six should had more development and kinda have them being the new Mane 6 with Twilight and her friends being mentors for them to teach the student six all about magic, love, and friendship. Cuz the Mane 6 already know this. That's just my opinion.
