Believe it or not, when you put your seats back in, raise them off the floor by an inch using some hardwood strips which you pass the bolts through. It's a subtle mod but it actually makes a difference re the driving position and view out of the car. I bought a 1967 MGB GT in the 1980s which the first owner had done this, they are still there - I bought the same car back a month ago after 36 years (yes I'd been in touch with you recently). All the best with the resto - the floors look good.
Fair enough. For my car the seats when I had it in the 80s were fine, and in recent years it's been retrimmed by a previous owner yet they retained the hight increase. A personal choice I guess - but I've heard of this mod before. All the best.
Hi Stu are you planning on keeping this one or are you restoring it to sell?. And what are your future plans are you going to be doing more restoration videos?. Take care mate Rich from Dronfield Derbyshire
On my to do list. Thanks for the video
Hope you get as lucky as I did with them not being seized.
Thanks for watching. 👍

Sounds a good idea although I will be replacing the seat foams and covers so that's probably going to raise them slightly. 👍

The plan is to keep this one but will probably find something else after it's done but not sure what at the moment. 👍
