Although I'm not too thrilled about being back in the UK riding in the cold, I have been looking forward to getting out with the lads for a good old group ride... so that's exactly what we get up to, a 120km cafe ride around the Essex lanes, a few spicy bits in places and a lot of banter. What a great ride... great seeing the guys, a a lovely bit a cake. What more do you want!

Out in Hawkes Bay New Zealand today, 200km of cycling tracks and infrastructure, wouldn't touch the roads - drivers and truckies a nightmare, because of your recommendation we now go to Lisbon cafe in Napier run by a Portuguese couple - Pastel de Nata are fantastic...........couldn't find them in Yorkshire before we emigrated. Brilliant content as always.

Great effort Ave 30kph in Jan Feb......although all bar one looked to be on their summer bikes, nea mud guards and all on carbon areo wheels. 😂 Here in Dorset it's winter bikes until the roads clean up. Great work.
Yeah I don’t really believe in winter/summer bikes… I Just have a bike and I use and abuse it (and of course meticulously maintain it) that’s what it’s there for… haha 🤪👍
@TheCyclingTattooist Fair play, I upgraded my bike 14 months ago from an entry level Specialized Sectuer 2009 to an SL7. So kept the Secture as my wintr bike. Luckily space isn't at a premium. It allows me an excuse for being slow in the winter. Haven't sorted a summer excuse out yet, still working on it.
Some nice bikes there , mind you , you lads look very fit and you get the most out of them .
