I recently graduated from MS 172, and I will be attending this school in September. In the Summer Bridge program two weeks ago, not only do you get an overview on what it's like, but there seems to be a lot of nice kids to talk to in Townsend.
@@rayyanshafqat8997 im a current freshman and i was in the same place as u not too long ago, the community is amazing and im so glad i picked this school
thanks, results are in 30 days. Ik for sure i got into a specilized hs cuz the exam was mad easy but idk abt townsend cuz I didnt use the sources for the essay you needed to submit so i prolly didnt get in despite having group 1 grades@@rosesforolivia
Wow. What a beautiful school! Kudos to the photographers at capturing great images that make me feel I've had an in-person tour. But it's better because those new to the school can watch it repeatedly. Great editing, script writing and delivery by Elliot Heath.
I have a question about the teams and clubs, how do we join them, where do we join them, and how the heck does it work for freshmen? as well as the lockers, do they provide us with a lock? Or do we need to buy one?
@@adritaoop-5591 Hey! A lot of information about clubs will be revealed in Orientation, which is in a couple weeks, but basically THHS holds a Club Fair pretty early on in the school year that helps introduce freshmen to different extracurriculars in the school. As for your other question, it is only optional to use a lock, but recommended. You should bring your own as the school doesn't provide you one.
@@darkcris1692 Thank you so much! To answer your question, physical education classes do involve a lot of running. Generally, you'll go out to the track every other day for class. However, right now the track is undergoing renovations, so gym won't be held there until December 2021 at the earliest. You can read more about the QC track renovations here: www.thhsclassic.com/2021/08/06/renovations-underway-for-the-queens-college-track-and-field/
