I love how everyone's personalities and tones of voice still come out in their styles of singing. AJ still sounds like a cowgirl, Rarity still sounds like a fashionista and Pinkie still sounds like someone you'd want planning your party. Their singing wasn't drowning out the ponies they were and I love that.

I saw it back in like 2014-2015 when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, even though I am still living my childhood, this has enough nostalgia to make me teared up
I'm 20 and always wanted to watch this show. Always snuck glances at the tv when big sis watched it. But whenever I wanted to watch it they looked at me weird and with the bullying I went through at school at the time, I didn't need more judgment. But when the pandemic started I began to binge the series and it was everything I hoped for and more. And the last episode felt like I was losing friends I knew for years. I wish I'd watched years ago, but I'm grateful that it helped get me through 2020. This show is special and it will forever be in our hearts.

I've literally watched mlp since I was young and now it's ended it's so sad and you realise how much feelsies you get, like you literally see her at first with no friends to becoming a powerful unicorn and 'taming discord' and then you see her turn into the princess of friendship, then you see the young new element spirits of the elements of harmony, then the mane 5 grow old and will eventually die and I can't help but think what twilight would think and it's so sad because they literally talk about their friendships as if they are about to die
Obviously Twilight is technically immortal since she is an allicorn, but even tho the mane 6 ( other than Twilight ) look older, the elements will keep them alive since they connected to them spiritually
but twilight and rarity are unicorns but now twilight is an alicorn and rainbow and fluttershy are pegasus and applejack and pinkie pie are earth ponies :DDDD I LOVE MLP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a habit of almost never crying when reading or watching something fictional, yet this is one of the closest times I've come to crying about something fictional. This series is truly one of the main series of my life that I think will influence my life in the future.

Returning brony here. I think that’s what they wanted. They wanted the audience to carry the show’s lessons into the real world and their messages to remain in our hearts for as long as we live. And hopefully, like Applejack said, it’s something true to pass on down to generations yet to come, who will carry out our mission once we’re no longer able to.
This was 10 years of my life and you can bet I started bawling my eyes out when I heard the melody of the main theme play at the end of this song. It was a journey and I'm grateful to have been on board.

I cried like two times. Like the main character, I didn’t think I’d be into it but now that I do, I’ve been loving it like five-ever. When I saw this episode, I couldn’t believe it until I started crying.
The way I tear up at this is unreal. I do not at all cry when it comes to music or movies but FiM has had such a huge affect on me as a person and I will forever be grateful to the characters along with the staff that created it. 💖💖
I grew up with My Little pony, this is my childhood, I would watch every season with my best friend! We watched season 9 together and cried from how our favorite show ended, and we may be almost 13-16now, but, we still love this show hopefully, G5 doesn’t ruin everything....

As a brony I’m one to not cry yet I enjoyed the series so much and this last episode really broke me down but it was sooooo good. Just finished the finale and the episode ended beautifully ❤ my favourite part 2:27 their final sing because they show all the major supporting character as a tribute past years thank you to the cast and crew for making this production. Friendship last forever and always be in our hearts. 💜
As one story ends another begin, I found this show by accident, I never really even liked MLP. But this show changed my view on it and I legitimately enjoyed every minute of it, was I made fun of yes did I care no. And while the show may end the fandom will continue as long as there are fans who make stories and art this show will live on forever.
I was a year or two late into its release, started watching it when I was around 7 in 2011. There's this aching feeling every time I listen to this song and I have to cope with the idea that My Little Pony has ended and I kid you not, when the book closed in the episode I sunk into an hours worth of mourning. I've practically grown up with the main 6, learning the friendship lessons in each episode, nit-picking favourite characters and assigning roles with my friends to fit which pony represented each of us (I was applejack), collected dolls and figurines, downloaded the songs onto MP3, this was the childhood I had and I'll forever cherish every moment of it. Come a day into my old years, if ever a new generation were to mention My Little Pony, I'd find myself smiling, silently thanking the show and the characters for the childhood they gave me
I was 9 when the first season of MLP started airing and it was pretty much my gateway into the internet and fandom culture, I'm not sure if I'd be the same person I am today without it. It's already been 4 years since the series ended and yet I still think about it so often. All good things must come to an end, but it'll always feel bittersweet when the thing in question had such a huge impact on your life.

If I just listen to the lyrics before Fluttershy’s part I remember the amazing journey that they’ve had and then I hear her sweet voice and it makes me think that that amazing journey is over. Not to even mention when Twilight says “how I used to wonder what friendship could be” and it brings me back to the first episode and the theme song and then the little tune at the very end after they stop singing that is part of the theme song makes tears literally come to my eyes. Never thought this (or any) show could make cry as much as watching the finale for the first time did.
Accidentally clicked on this and spoiled myself but this song shows how much little time I have with show now that I'm on season 9 and to enjoy it while it last. I'm gonna cry so hard when I hear this song. However even when I see it end, this show will always have a special place in my heart because of how wholesome it is and how it has made me better person! Friendship forever! 2 years it's been. And this song still drives me to tears when I listen to it. I don't care if people say MLP is a kids show. The lessons that we learned from the characters are potentially the greatest lessons you can learn in life. I have never appreciated the honor of watching a series more than I have with My little pony Friendship is Magic.

what a great song to end the show. i started watching this show when i was grade 1-2 and loved it so much. i still remember playing with my mlp toys and singing "this day aria". i did lose interest since i was in my growing up stage or idk something like that, but im so glad i came back and watched the whole show. i literally learned so much the past 2 months about friendship that i didn't realize i had to learn about. I'm so thankful for the producers, directors, voice actors, animators, everyone behind my little pony. thanks to them, i now cherish friendship and know that it is very important in life. i won't forget the lessons i learned, and will definitely rewatch the show from time-to-time! thank u so much, my little pony. friendship truly is magic.
I've never had any friends. They were my only friends.. I grew up with them. And like everything else, this cartoon also came to an end. But mlp is not just a cartoon. Mlp taught me friendship. Loyalty, honesty, kindness, generosity, laughter and magic.... Whatever. It may be over, but I will never forget it and will always love it.
This gives me such a strong feeling of nostalgia even though I largely dropped out of the show by season 6. It just was the thing for me when I was really worried about leaving the nest and throughout the entire process of growing the show was always there for me. Whenever I feared I would lose my self to adulthood MLP was there to remind me I could still be young.
As a mlp fan, It was really hard to see the book closing.. Many years of watching mlp is the best years.I really thought mlp had 11 seasons so I tried to watch it. (not watched it from starting in 2010) after watching ss9 "The last problem", Idk why it said " Last" but I kept watching.. And the last time seeing the book closing, I was shocked thinking mlp ended,so I tried searching mlp ss10 but none of them came, but g5 as mlp ss10 , I was confused so I tried searching google, and the tears tried to came out of me but I hold it, and always cry at night. Hope g5 doesn't ruin how g4 ended.. "If a legend died, A new one is born." -True mlp fans.

I was at a My Little Pony Convention this year in August. One of the activities was a finish the lyrics to the song. When we all got to the last song, The Magic of Friendship Grows, we were all crying. I'm glad i have people like me who understand how i feel about this show. It was one of the best experiences I've had in my life.

Man, when I watched this for the first time, the book closing...just hit someplace deep man. All the memories of shitposting on EQD and BronyNet, the countless conventions, the friends I made that I still interact with to this day, literally meeting my soulmate through the show been together for 11 years, getting up early ON A SATURDAY and watching the new EPs on The Hub, then debating on the forums about it for up to several hours. All that shit came rushing back out to the front of my mind like it happened yesterday. May not be the greatest show I've seen, but it certainly had the most impact. If you told 12 year old me my entire adult life would be made by literally a fricken My Little Pony TV show, he'd probably call the nearest mental institute. The greatest lesson this show taught me was to be yourself and don't let others around you influence who you want to be. And it taught me that lesson in multiple ways: through the actual show, through the friends I made, and through the sheer joy it gave me to see someone's confused face when you told them you were a brony. As life continues to bombard me with adversity, I always seem to come back to this innocent little corner of the internet and lose myself all over again in the memories, old and new. If you read this to the end, stay strong. Never forget to love and tolerate. Lift yourself up as well as others around you. Don't lose that spark that you had when you were part of this fandom. Only then, will the show and it's fandom truly never die.
the fact that it starts with just twilight singing goes through each of the characters then has them all singing at once and ends with twilight is such a THING The series started with twilight alone, then each of the characters had to get over their own problems, then they had to overcome stuff *together* and due to twilight's alicorn-stuff she'll live beyond the others being the last alive of the mane six

I didn’t really watch the episode,just caught up to it with clips on the official website and analysis videos. I loved this show as a kid and brought me a lot of comfort. I cannot stop expressing how much unexplored potential this Series has, they literally should have ended Friendship is Magic in a way that they could come back to it anytime.

Season 9 really left a lot to be desired. It was clear by then that the writers were running out of plot ideas. Still, it really went out with one heck of a great song. It was really refreshing since nearly all the best songs in the series took place in the earlier years.
Childhood TV series are really damn good at making their finales extremely emotional. It’s hard not to shed a tear or two at endings like this one, especially when the final song is this beautiful. I remember I felt the same with Phineas and Ferb’s finale 🤧 This episode’s final take of the Mane 6 gives off the same energy as Phineas waving goodbye at us
I honestly wish they would’ve shown Flurry in the scene with Pumpkin and Pound. She would’ve been an adult by then. The Mane 6 were in their 20s in the series, and judging by how they’ve changed, they’re roughly 50-60 in the final song. We would’ve gotten to see what Flurry’s Cutie Mark was.
Anybody else there when the first episodes were on TV? I remember watching the episode of the time they went to the gala for the first time, or the first episode when Nightmare Moon returned...I sat there watching the whole thing with my brother until it came out on Netflix 😢 then I binge watched it so many times.

Just finished the finale and the episode ended beautifully ❤ my favourite part 2:27 their final sing because they show all the major supporting character as a tribute past years thank you to the cast and crew for making this production.

As one story ends another begin, I found this show by accident, I never really even liked MLP. But this show changed my view on it and I legitimately enjoyed every minute of it, was I made fun of yes did I care no. And while the show may end the fandom will continue as long as there are fans who make stories and art this show will live on forever.
I was a year or two late into its release, started watching it when I was around 7 in 2011. There's this aching feeling every time I listen to this song and I have to cope with the idea that My Little Pony has ended and I kid you not, when the book closed in the episode I sunk into an hours worth of mourning. I've practically grown up with the main 6, learning the friendship lessons in each episode, nit-picking favourite characters and assigning roles with my friends to fit which pony represented each of us (I was applejack), collected dolls and figurines, downloaded the songs onto MP3, this was the childhood I had and I'll forever cherish every moment of it.
Come a day into my old years, if ever a new generation were to mention My Little Pony, I'd find myself smiling, silently thanking the show and the characters for the childhood they gave me

I was 9 when the first season of MLP started airing and it was pretty much my gateway into the internet and fandom culture, I'm not sure if I'd be the same person I am today without it. It's already been 4 years since the series ended and yet I still think about it so often. All good things must come to an end, but it'll always feel bittersweet when the thing in question had such a huge impact on your life.

If I just listen to the lyrics before Fluttershy’s part I remember the amazing journey that they’ve had and then I hear her sweet voice and it makes me think that that amazing journey is over. Not to even mention when Twilight says “how I used to wonder what friendship could be” and it brings me back to the first episode and the theme song and then the little tune at the very end after they stop singing that is part of the theme song makes tears literally come to my eyes. Never thought this (or any) show could make cry as much as watching the finale for the first time did.
Accidentally clicked on this and spoiled myself but this song shows how much little time I have with show now that I'm on season 9 and to enjoy it while it last. I'm gonna cry so hard when I hear this song. However even when I see it end, this show will always have a special place in my heart because of how wholesome it is and how it has made me better person! Friendship forever!

what a great song to end the show. i started watching this show when i was grade 1-2 and loved it so much. i still remember playing with my mlp toys and singing "this day aria". i did lose interest since i was in my growing up stage or idk something like that, but im so glad i came back and watched the whole show. i literally learned so much the past 2 months about friendship that i didn't realize i had to learn about. I'm so thankful for the producers, directors, voice actors, animators, everyone behind my little pony. thanks to them, i now cherish friendship and know that it is very important in life.

I've never had any friends. They were my only friends.. I grew up with them. And like everything else, this cartoon also came to an end. But mlp is not just a cartoon. Mlp taught me friendship. Loyalty, honesty, kindness, generosity, laughter and magic.... Whatever. It may be over, but I will never forget it and will always love it.

Finally watched the last episode. I loved seeing everyone aged up. Lil Cheese is so cute! Pinkie and Cheese are canon!
This gives me such a strong feeling of nostalgia even though I largely dropped out of the show by season 6. It just was the thing for me when I was really worried about leaving the nest and throughout the entire process of growing the show was always there for me. Whenever I feared I would lose my self to adulthood MLP was there to remind me I could still be young.
As a mlp fan, It was really hard to see the book closing.. Many years of watching mlp is the best years.I really thought mlp had 11 seasons so I tried to watch it. (not watched it from starting in 2010) after watching ss9 "The last problem", Idk why it said " Last" but I kept watching.. And the last time seeing the book closing, I was shocked thinking mlp ended,so I tried searching mlp ss10 but none of them came, but g5 as mlp ss10 , I was confused so I tried searching google, and the tears tried to came out of me but I hold it, and always cry at night. Hope g5 doesn't ruin how g4 ended..

I was at a My Little Pony Convention this year in August. One of the activities was a finish the lyrics to the song. When we all got to the last song, The Magic of Friendship Grows, we were all crying. I'm glad i have people like me who understand how i feel about this show. It was one of the best experiences I've had in my life.

this show really filled my childhood, i would come back from school and sit infront of my father's pc and jist endlessly search for mlp thumbnails cause i dont understand english yet and mlp truely helps alot with my english. i stopped watching mlp cause idk where to watch them but now im 16, im rewatching this show again and tears just wont stop flowing

Man, when I watched this for the first time, the book closing...just hit someplace deep man. All the memories of shitposting on EQD and BronyNet, the countless conventions, the friends I made that I still interact with to this day, literally meeting my soulmate through the show been together for 11 years, getting up early ON A SATURDAY and watching the new EPs on The Hub, then debating on the forums about it for up to several hours. All that shit came rushing back out to the front of my mind like it happened yesterday. May not be the greatest show I've seen, but it certainly had the most impact. If you told 12 year old me my entire adult life would be made by literally a fricken My Little Pony TV show, he'd probably call the nearest mental institute. The greatest lesson this show taught me was to be yourself and don't let others around you influence who you want to be. And it taught me that lesson in multiple ways: through the actual show, through the friends I made, and through the sheer joy it gave me to see someone's confused face when you told them you were a brony. As life continues to bombard me with adversity, I always seem to come back to this innocent little corner of the internet and lose myself all over again in the memories, old and new. If you read this to the end, stay strong. Never forget to love and tolerate. Lift yourself up as well as others around you. Don't lose that spark that you had when you were part of this fandom. Only then, will the show and it's fandom truly never die.

I finished the series this morning. I was crying throughout this entire song. I have been a fan of this series since 2010, and I finally got to finish all nine seasons this month.

I cannot stop expressing how much unexplored potential this Series has, they literally should have ended Friendship is Magic in a way that they could come back to it anytime.
Every time i listen to this song, it always makes me want to say-"Farewell Twilight and friends, thank you so much for everything and even though you will never return you shall remain in our hearts forever."
Season 9 really left a lot to be desired. It was clear by then that the writers were running out of plot ideas. Still, it really went out with one heck of a great song. It was really refreshing since nearly all the best songs in the series took place in the earlier years.

Childhood TV series are really damn good at making their finales extremely emotional. It’s hard not to shed a tear or two at endings like this one, especially when the final song is this beautiful.
I remember I felt the same with Phineas and Ferb’s finale 🤧 This episode’s final take of the Mane 6 gives off the same energy as Phineas waving goodbye at us
I honestly wish they would’ve shown Flurry in the scene with Pumpkin and Pound. She would’ve been an adult by then. The Mane 6 were in their 20s in the series, and judging by how they’ve changed, they’re roughly 50-60 in the final song. We would’ve gotten to see what Flurry’s Cutie Mark was.

I remember watching the episode of the time they went to the gala for the first time, or the first episode when Nightmare Moon returned...I sat there watching the whole thing with my brother until it came out on Netflix 😢 then I binge watched it so many times.
