I am thinking off doing a factory reset on my fire stick 1 can I set it all back up using my android phone as I no longer have the remote and 2 would I lose downloader at present I have it loaded or should I just leave it why I am doing this is the Amazon fire stick phone app freezes I have to uninstall then re install it any help on this works ok on the iPad at the moment lol
I do not know why the phone app freezes, sorry. I don't think a factory reset would not fix this problem. However, I'm not sure how to help you, sorry.

Good evening Tanya, I bought the 3rd generation fire cube and I'm trying to download bee tv but it says for my security my tv is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source (downloader). Now I tried following this tutorial but there is no About in preference's so is there another way........Thanks in advance if you can help this California Grandma :)

@@DJStanSteel Did you try the Fire TV / Android TV version for iPlayer?
Discovery+ must be accessed via a web browser, there is no Fire TV version that I've come across that can be sideloaded.

If you already have the app installed, it should not affect it at all.

Hello! Have you clicked on the blue download button that matches the one in the video? Also, may I know which device you are using? If you are using a VPN, it could be blocking the download. You can try turning it off and then try downloading again.

If TV Bro does what Downloader did (downloads APKs), why re-install Downloader at all? Why not stay with TV Bro?
Downloader has the added benefit of utilising short codes.
For example, instead of typing in a full website address such as firetvsticks.com, you can just type 28907 into Downloader and hit GO.

If you can't find Downloader in your app store, you can sideload it. Just visit firetvsticks.com, select "Downloads" from the menu, then choose "Tools" from the list of categories. Look for Downloader in the list and select it. On the next screen, find the light-blue download button and select it to install the app.
