All in all good job. I have worked with all species of crocodilians (24) for many years. I have to say that if you use a crate and simply pull the gator in to the crate, you dont have to restrain it at all. And you can also very easily slide it in to the water when releasing it. It will reduce the stress of the animals a whole lot. And use wet towels in stead, it will stay on the eyes/head much better.
Omg the tears tripped me when I seen how emotional Brooke was bless her. Fred was a great man, it was always a good video when Kenan was with Fred. I'm overjoyed that Fred Grunwald's legacy will continue on Kamp Kenan's property. Fred will be incredibly happy to see that Snaggletooth and his wife who have lived in Gator Paradise can continue to stay in Paradise! Fred will be missed and he may be gone. However, his spirit lives through the rest of the Grunwald's family and friends and through his Animals. He will never be forgotten. So happy to see everyone working together to make a difference! So much emotion watching this. Always loved seeing the videos when you would visit Fred. He left such an amazing legacy behind. As others have said everyone who ever got to see him in videos or those who were lucky to meet him in person, he left a part of himself with all of us.
It really lifted my spirits to see so many self-sacrificing, concerned animal people all in the same place at the same time. The speed and ease if the relocation is testimony of everybody's concern and cooperation. Well done, you guys! And obviously the relocated residents are pleased with their new home.

From what I can see as a viewer I truly believe that Fred would be over the moon happy with the enclosure that you built for them and knowing that you are always going to take care of them, and the amount of care that you are going to give them. Obviously he left them to you for a reason. And I see no reason why his family and granddaughter aren’t just as proud as he would be right now. Thoughts go out to you and Fred’s family and those gators alike on such an emotional journey!

Amazing how those alligators that have decades of human contact still resent being handled and moved and act just like wild ones. Now they are fortunate that they have a brand-new life and an amazing place to live. The community support is also surprisingly strong. I didn’t expect so many people to gather for the event.

What beautiful alligators, in excellent condition. I never knew they growl, and roar like a Lion. The show stick that John was explaining, is the same as a bull hook that elephant trainers used. I found it very interesting about the island in a pond and visual barriers to break up the line of sight, it works for pheasants too. My condolences to Fred's family.
@@sdqsdq6274 Pretty sure John mentioned either filing or sanding it down, for some reason. I have no idea how tough an alligator hide is, but it must be durable considering they have been using the leather for centuries.
I actually got chills watching the gators being released and watching Fred's granddaughter,. I hope she has an open invitation to visit them and remember Fred.

I recently lost my grandfather so I can relate to Brooke. My grandmother sold the house that our parents, my cousins and I were raised in and my grandmother also quickly found another man to date. It felt like everything I knew was changing and it sucks because it feels like the bridge behind you is burning. As a kid you don’t really think about how one day your loved ones wont be there anymore. You always think they will be there. I’m glad that the gators found a home and I am glad that Brooke and her family got to be involved with seeing them off to their new home. I wish the best for their family. I feel so honored to get to see these animals go to your house and live just as good a life as they did with Fred! To know they r going to be ok and that Fred doesn't have to worry about them! Lord do u know how hard it is to type and wipe tears away at the same time? I'm boohooing over here because I am just so happy for these animals! I'm overjoyed that Fred Grunwald's legacy will continue on Kamp Kenan's property. Fred will be incredibly happy to see that Snaggletooth and his wife who have lived in Gator Paradise can continue to stay in Paradise! Fred will be missed and he may be gone. However, his spirit lives through the rest of the Grunwald's family and friends and through his Animals. He will never be forgotten.

So much emotion watching this. Always loved seeing the videos when you would visit Fred. He left such an amazing legacy behind. As others have said everyone who ever got to see him in videos or those who were lucky to meet him in person, he left a part of himself with all of us.

It really lifted my spirits to see so many self-sacrificing, concerned animal people all in the same place at the same time. The speed and ease if the relocation is testimony of everybody's concern and cooperation. Well done, you guys! And obviously the relocated residents are pleased with their new home.

From what I can see as a viewer I truly believe that Fred would be over the moon happy with the enclosure that you built for them and knowing that you are always going to take care of them, and the amount of care that you are going to give them. Obviously he left them to you for a reason. And I see no reason why his family and granddaughter aren’t just as proud as he would be right now. Thoughts go out to you and Fred’s family and those gators alike on such an emotional journey!

Now they are fortunate that they have a brand-new life and an amazing place to live. The community support is also surprisingly strong. I didn’t expect so many people to gather for the event.

What beautiful alligators, in excellent condition. I never knew they growl, and roar like a Lion. The show stick that John was explaining, is the same as a bull hook that elephant trainers used. I found it very interesting about the island in a pond and visual barriers to break up the line of sight, it works for pheasants too. My condolences to Fred's family.

@@sdqsdq6274 Pretty sure John mentioned either filing or sanding it down, for some reason. I have no idea how tough an alligator hide is, but it must be durable considering they have been using the leather for centuries.
I actually got chills watching the gators being released and watching Fred's granddaughter,. I hope she has an open invitation to visit them and remember Fred.

I recently lost my grandfather so I can relate to Brooke. My grandmother sold the house that our parents, my cousins and I were raised in and my grandmother also quickly found another man to date. It felt like everything I knew was changing and it sucks because it feels like the bridge behind you is burning. As a kid you don’t really think about how one day your loved ones wont be there anymore. You always think they will be there. I’m glad that the gators found a home and I am glad that Brooke and her family got to be involved with seeing them off to their new home. I wish the best for their family. Thank you Kenan for keeping us in the loop with the gators and Fred.

Thank you Grunwalds for entrusting part of Fred's legacy to Kenan's stewardship. The remainder of their lives will be spent as close to the quality they experienced with Fred as possible and shout out to Kenan for facilitating that. Fred's presence on the channel was always a much anticipated highlight and he represented a lifetime culminating the fascination and overwhelming passion for nature that is so beautiful about this channel. If the world was run by Fred's and Kennans it would be a better place, and to see how your community already is gathering and taking note of this rerelease into captivity is proof that the ultimate purpose of the Kamp to spread awareness about proper animal husbandry and new perspectives of our role in nature is only gaining more traction. Fred could not possibly have chosen a person better suited to see these gators to the end of their lives in comfort and health. I have been watching Kenan make the most incredibly natural enclosures. He is such a huge advocate for all reptiles. Those gstors are deeply lucky to reture there.
