      Thank you! Yes it's really got there, mixture of Poor boys black hole, Turtle Wax Jet Black and then a few coats of Anachem Automotive Hybrid wax really has transformed it.

    I bought an 2013 Alfa which was on English plates from the Republic because the owner moved over from England and driven it for 18 months but was about to get stung for VRT so he had it up for sale in Northern Ireland. Only issue is he had it serviced twice in Dublin so service history is a mix of miles and km's. This is fine until the MOT centre in Lisburn put 98,000 miles through as 98,000km. Took about a month to sort out that simple error.

    Thanks for the info mate. I've done the restrictor and taken most of the slack out the throttle cable and managed to get full throttle. Will be getting a proper throttle cable when I can afford it

      Just make sure yours isn't already a 105ps by parts listed in the video

      @@RobsonRoverRepair it comes up at 84ps so I’ll have to double check I’ll take the air box off to see if it opens all the way. If not then I’ll get the unrestricted one.

      Yes mate, ignition on, not starting, pump accelerator fully 5 times in 10 seconds and the switch off. When you start idol will drop right down instantly.

    I wonder if I could use a 160PS throttle body for a little more poke? Also do you have a guide to resetting the stepper motor? I've just got a restricted 25 and would love the extra power and fuel economy

      Yeah plenty have done the 52mm one before, I personally didn't because I just wanted it "semi standard".
      Stepper motor is easy. Key in ignition, turn to positive 2, pump pedal 5 times fully and quickly in under 10 seconds, turn key off and remove, put key in, and wolla, reset and ready to go.

    Hello have a question, Can i also upgrade in Rover 214?
    But have The kseries engine 8 valve with 75hp

      Hello, no this would only work on the 25 / streetwise 16v with the 84ps engine.
      The MK2 400 did get the 8V 1.4 and the 103PS 1.4.
      Even the early Spi 16v models where only 90 brake and the mpi where 103.
      Basically your best bet is to change to a 1.4 16v Spi head with ecu and stuff (it would be cheapest) to get an extra 15bhp.
      Orrrr the best way would be a 1.6 conversion (not a 1.8) from a 216 16v as it will all swap over no problems.
      Personally I'd just keep the 1.4 8v and wait for a Doner car and engine

      But if i Change The head and Ecu i have 103 hp . Right ?
      I am from Portugal, but here is not easy to find The 1.6 16v . And most of The 1.4 are in bad condition.

      The 1.4 8 valve , i never believe that before but is a Nice Engine and pulls good .

      You could find a 16v head and put it on instead. Would be the easiest thing and if you got the ecu and bits for it also.
