Hi Tari, transportation is not good in Canada because we don't have the population to support it and have it be profitable. Also, most people prefer to drive especially in the past when gas/petrol prices were really cheap. I remember when gas price was $0.40/litre.

Tari - Welcome to Canada! BTW the GST/HST was brought into play because Canadians wanted to know what the tax is. In the past it was included in prices. Oh and I lived in Birmingham for 10 yrs. Loved Brum!

I don't think it's fair to use Calgary as a reference for all of Canada (especially in terms of fashion & food). If you were in Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal it's a totally different story! Calgary is a very conservative, oil & gas, and agriculture based city, it's nothing like London. Being a Calgarian as well while watching this video I'm like Tari...you need to see the rest of Canada first! lol

I was speaking about canada through my eyes. I have Infact been to Vancouver & Toronto and honestly, I still feel the same way about the fashion. Transportation might be better in Toronto and that’s why I kept saying ‘in Calgary’ ‘in Calgary’. Calgary is nothing like London or Birmingham which is exactly why there are those differences. Not to say Calgary is bad by any means… I Love Calgary & Canada a whole lot. Again, this is Calgary/Canada through my eyes. 🧡

I met a married my husband in Calgary. He’s Scottish and in the British military. He’s right now station and his hometown Glasgow Scotland. I’ve been to the UK more than six times and it is completely different from Canada! Lol. Regardless if we’re talking about a specific province. We are all very similar in little ways that differentiate from UK’s culture

Second largest country in the world with the 39th largest population (Uk is 21). If we don't make things big there'd be very little here.
