I was so devastated when akira toriyama passed away, I woke up and was shock to see that he passed away. speaking of the manga I’ve started hunting out all of the single volumes of Dragon Ball and have a special shelf for this series to honour this amazing legacy of akira toriyama.

That is so beautiful creating a special shelf honoring the legacy of Akira Toriyama. I’m still in a bit of shock that his passing happened soon. 68 still seems too young

@@GeeksThatParent same i do feel that 68 is a young age, his legacy will be very well respected, made a sign to remind my parents not to put any other book thats not dragon ball related. being very cleaver on that sign.

With his passing I decided to finally watch classic dragon ball. I was first introduced to dragon ball Gt, Goku traveling with his granddaughter and trunks through the galaxy and then Z. I alway said i will get see dragon ball, but with akira passing i decide to finally watch it. Im currently in Goku and Krillin training with Master roshi and greatly enjoyjng it.

Actually looking back. Even though Dragon Ball is kinda not for kids, I read it when I was 10 years old. I don't think I really understand the pervert things in the manga lol. It was the very first manga I ever read (with Doraemon which was very popular in Asia back then).

Oh wow! I do not think I even know what manga was until I was a junior in high school. Still surprised we do not have Doraemon in the west.
