It was completely stuck and I thought the gear mechanism broke, being made of plastic. I didn't even think it would collect so much residue inside. And now I know how to maintain it, I can't thank you enough!

omg thank you for making this! Can you also show how to totally take the tweezer roller bit apart? I can see there is stuff stuck on the side between the round plates at the ends of it..i think you havee too take the metal rod off..but i was too scared to do it without any guidance. TIA!!!!

0:52 was the critical step. Won't actually epilate if you don't have it in that exact orientation, but it will still spin like normal.
