2021 has been a difficult year on a personal level, but "discovering" Urban Hymns has really helped me to find the power to rise above my frustrations.....and hope for things to take a positive turn soon. Inshallah.
Shoegazer 93 won't happen. He and Noel are too busy telling anyone who'll listen how they wrote all the lyrics and melodies and their respective bands added no value. Egocentric.
Love this song! Reminds me of myself and some struggles I've over come! Cuz I'm a lucky man! And love the harmony in it, first 35 seconds to me, feels if I closed my eyes I wld be somewhere else.....
Thank you. An inexplicable post. One of the few songs that ranks in my 'All time' favorites. Across the many genres of music, I have but a few. This is one. Nails it. Thank you.

Thank you
Nice one .
I hear it from others and I truly believe that the 90’s was the last era of great music 🎶
Hi I recommend a song and video here on youtube called 'Where I Come From' By Robert Nix
Love this version more. It's got a personal touch to it and fits well with the lyrics.
something magical
about a fire-escape
take it from this 57 year old man, this song fuckin rock !!!
ClandestineOstrich why wouldn't he use the internet? Everyone uses the internet, my 90 year old grandma orders shopping online and my great grandad is never off twitter!
Ohhhh god I'm a 56 yr old woman and I love you tube..hahahaaa and the verve...
even the outtakes from Urban Hymns are good
Mr. Richard Ashcroft, need I say more. Such great talent that is so underappreciated!
This song helped me a lot to get over my depression. Thank you very much The Verve.
this song is a masterpiece and the video too, applause to the sun !!!!!!!!
The amount of love I have for the verve music is just limitless....😍😍😍😍😭😭😭😭😭
The best song writer of all times
I love this song. Real music is hard to come by.
2021 has been a difficult year on a personal level, but "discovering" Urban Hymns has really helped me to find the power to rise above my frustrations.....and hope for things to take a positive turn soon. Inshallah.
One of the best songs of the late nineties!!
This song deserves more views.
A best rock/pop of a decade of the 90's
Shared this clip with a High School pal when we both turned 50. Song and visuals ringed true for her and me.
years later it still makes sense!!!
1:55 If only Richard would do that one more time, REUNION PLEASE
Please Richard one last album! :(
Shoegazer 93 won't happen. He and Noel are too busy telling anyone who'll listen how they wrote all the lyrics and melodies and their respective bands added no value. Egocentric.
Yes indeed, would like to hear Simon Jones awesome bass!
An anthem for all those who seek the true path of self betterment.
His best song ever genius
Proves a truly beautiful song can be composed with only four chords. Richard's approach and melody are superb & bring such positive emotions to me.
brings back some great childhood memories this track, cracking band
so much passion and emotion within Richard ashcroft!
Love this song! Reminds me of myself and some struggles I've over come! Cuz I'm a lucky man! And love the harmony in it, first 35 seconds to me, feels if I closed my eyes I wld be somewhere else.....
First time I’ve seen this promo version and it’s 2023 😳😂👍
I just found him recently and his creations are masterpiece.🔥🔥
The group and the song are beautiful... thanks

Richard Ashcroft... Gorgeousness Personified...
Thank you. An inexplicable post. One of the few songs that ranks in my 'All time' favorites. Across the many genres of music, I have but a few. This is one. Nails it. Thank you.
Happy 50th birthday Richard Ashcroft!!!
It’s 2024. This is One of my favorite albums of all times.
"Crime of the Century" is up there!
And mine
Супер !!!!!!!❤
Just fabulous. Awesome production
This song every time remind me The Girl Next Door 👌♥️ One of my favourite films.
los noventa, la mejor época de la musica
Total!
yo no olvido finales 60 y 70s...Beatles , stones, Zeppeling, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Genesis, PPeter Gabriel, Yes, Punk, the police incluso y un monton mas
SING IT
Happiness
More or less
It's just a change in me
Something in my liberty
Oh, my, my
Happiness
Coming and going
I watch you look at me
Watch my fever growing
I know just where I am
But how many corners do I have to turn?
How many times do I have to learn
All the love I have is in my mind?
Well, I'm a lucky man
With fire in my hands
Happiness
Something in my own place
I'm stood here naked
Smiling, I feel no disgrace
With who I am
Happiness
Coming and going
I watch you look at me
Watch my fever growing
I know just who I am
But how many corners do I have to turn?
How many times do I have to learn
All the love I have is in my mind?
I hope you understand
I hope you understand
Oh, no no no no no no no no no
Gotta love that'll never die
