Nice clear, it’s good to see how the normal end of the fight looks. I’ve joined a bunch of runs with a busted whale level dps cloud and it’s crazy how much of the fight gets skipped in that case. With enough damage you basically skip right from the first sigil phase immediately to the second one with no briny bellows in between and then kill it after the sigil phase is done. Then I’ve also been in runs where we were able to skip the first sigil phase entirely and jump straight to the second shorter one, and one run where we did the first sigil phase and then managed to kill Levi before the second phase started.
Those runs require so much less coordination and someone can be practically carried through it, but runs like these are honestly a lot better for making people learn the fight/ how to limit break cancel and will help more with then being able to clear the solo versions.

Looking back at the gameplay it was probably our worst played limit cancel fight haha. This is for having room for mistake for people let's say! all planned ;)!
Also 15:48 super clutch cancel with the ruinra!

In my first attempt at Leviathan EX CO-OP, I was the fool who didn't know how important Limit Breaks interruptions are in this fight. Then I had to wander around random matches for some time, with prepared different roles for this fight (Cloud, Red XIII, Matt). But in the end I managed to find the right players and win. Quick Tip Guys: Look for players with fast Limit Breaks and not Summons. And if someone on your team queue changes characters to fit in with the rest, know that you're on the right team.
Thanks for the video, Nitelight9. I believe it will help many players.

Great point about what type of players to look for! You can tell a lot about people's knowledge of the battle based on what they are brining in their kit!

I decided to play the healer since most people have a strong Cloud and got pretty lucky on my third run to get paired with a super strong cloud and Yuffie that had lightining debuff and attack up. The yuffie was smart enough to notice that we didn't have mag down so she brought a mag down materia, I did the same but never really had time to use it, it was close sometimes but Matt is really good as a healer with magD up high and strong healing and even more so since I pulle for his costume with HP and healing.

Completing this EX Leviathan with randos was a nightmare. Everyone was either looking for a hard carry, while contributing nothing of value, or would have a barely acceptable DPS and wouldn't even attempt to deplete the Levi damage bar, or would not be continuously sigil breaking during the sigil break phase. Some of these bad DPS had the Murasame costume, which was suprising, because how have you played for this long and are still a total noob?
I'm almost convinced some of those sabotuers were playing in auto mode, except auto mode wouldn't make such stupid moves.
Lobbying with randoms you should only really be bringing a select few streamlined characters:
    1. Red 13 w/ -Lightning Resist and -MATK (preferable) or +MDEF (sub-optimal here, but the next best option).
-MATK is better because the other two primary characters to use can carry +MDEF.
    2. Matt w/ Centipede and +MDEF.
    3. Cloud w/ Murasame and +MDEF or a damage bolstering 2ndary weapon.
    Other acceptable options are:
    1. Zack with new weapon and Twinkling Star
Characters that can work but I'd avoid:
    1. Tifa w/ Lifeguard Wraps and -MATK. This is serviceable, however unfavorable, as your healer needs to be prioritize healing, and it's better to have your debuffer be able to stay in it's role.
    2. Barrett w/ Heal all wepon and -MATK. This essentially works the same as the aforementioned Tifa set.
    3. Aerith w/ Fairy Tale and +MDEF.
This is a worse version of Matt, as Aerith can only +MDEF to mid.
Characters that are completely useless here:
    1. Yuffie- Can -Lightning Resist, but cannot provide DPS; Healing; -Matk; +MDEF
    2. Cait Sit- Same as above
    3. Sephiroth- Can -MATK but cannot DPS, -Lightning Resist, heal, or +MDEF
    4. Glenn- Just don't.
    5. Lucia- Just don't.
Don't be that guy in random lobbies prohibiting the success of others. If you cannot provide a helpful role, you are only wasting other people's time.

Tifa and Zack also work very well as healers for this fight as long as Red or Cloud can handle the MDEF buff. Tifa's Lifeguard Wraps let her do great single target heals with materia, her Tiger Fangs drops MATK, and her limit drops PDEF. Zack's Twinkling Star drops MATK and PDEF, and he has another weapon that does strong single target heals.

@@Nitelight9 yea it will happen if you're not used to it. its just randoms will bring random equips , like main hand buster swords or someone will not bring sigils , etc . didn't realize this thing was too hard for most players lol
