    Would be great to also write the numbers in the metric system. The majority of the watchers have hard time interpreting the measurement given in feet.

      Infact longest suspension bridge lies in Nepal. 576m.

    did it two weeks ago, one of the scariest experiences ever, the journey one side takes 10 min, the bridge waves a little bit, but overall totally worthy experience...

    NG, you make great factual video’s. But it would be great when using units to use Metrics as the 99% of the world uses Metrics. Or use both Metric and USCS, as your content is worldwide on the internet. That would be very thoughtful. Thank you 😊

    It is not the longest nor the highest. That is Ponte 516 Arouca, part of the Passadiços do Paiva, (Board walk) in Arouca, Portugal.
    516 meters long suspension bridge 175 meters above the river Paiva.

    It was barely opened.. I thought It has years constructed 😓
    If it has like 25 years old at least and people walk on and there is no injuries whatsoever, I walked there. Seems a bit weak. I prefer the Great Wall of china. 👻

    The longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world is now in Baglung, Nepal which is 567m. Hence, 73 m longer than this.

    Just a disaster waiting to happen. One strong cross wind and boom, by, by, tourist. At those altitudes you can't predicate anything.

    ...One way bridge? I mean, if someone is already walking from one direction, you'd have to wait until they finish crossing, or you'd need to squeeze past them. Might as well make it a little wider, no?

      Its used for almost all informal or scientifically un-involved measurements in the US. National Geographic is an American company.

    Love how everyone is whining that the measurements aren't in their favor. Grow the fuck up if that's what you're going to complain about. Have your phone out and convert it to metric units. That's what I did, and trust me, it's not fucking hard to do

      It's 493.776 meters in length and at its highest point is 85.039 meters above the ground.
