I wasn't the biggest fan of them in as couple in the show cause she was very insecure and anxious and he didn't handle things very well either at times with his fixing things attitude causing their fights to inflate. However they both seem to be working on it and striving to be better individually and better as a couple and I love that. They love each other and have proven that love can be blind but are also putting in the work.
They proved me wrong and I'm so happy for them. I'm glad they have normalized couples therapy, there is no shame in getting help and being vulnerable. Good for them!
I honestly wanted him to say NO to her . Shes very insecure and started so many arguments with him simply because she was projecting her own feelings on to him . He deserves better
You know, I totally agree with you here...every word you said, I share your opinion. I wanted against all odds to give them my 'benefit of the doubt' approval, but she really needs to work on herself A LOT...and I mean, a lot. Their arguments (her arguments), were extremely petty, and out-of-place when it came to 'communication'. I believe even her mother voiced something to that nature when Danielle introduced Nick to her family, and they spend an evening with them...I think it was a dinner or something. Nick is great when it comes to communication, but Danielle needs to see a psychiatrist.
Exactly, I'm glad they went to counseling but if she continues this it will get exhausting and not end well. Idk but I saw Danielle to be the biggest issue in her union, she needs serious help because nothing that man could of done would of satisfied her, she was so annoying, draining, insecure, selfish minded & paranoid he not perfect but no one is especially having to figure out how to respond or deal with a person like that. It takes a lot of patience, she reminds me of someone I know who had and created an issue out of anything they could think of to get sympathy or attention. There always a damsel in distress or a Debby downer and kills the mood for everyone around them sucking there energy dry.
They didn’t look like they were in love on the show, even when things were good. It looked forced… I hope she’s getting therapy on her own too. I have anxiety and PTSD, I don’t mentally or verbally abuse my husband. Having a mental illness is no excuse to abuse you loved ones. People really need to stop using mental illness as an excuse to act abusive towards others. People also need to learn how to *cope* with their mental illness before getting into a relationship too.

When Danielle is listening to people talk, you can see her eyes move like she is thinking to herself about the worst case scenario of how to interpret what someone is saying. Hopefully she gets over that and can allow someone to say something without her negative spin.
Marriage is hard. If it wasn't, everyone would do it, and stay together. The ones willing to put in the work are the ones that succeed. I wish these two all the best in their future.

I do too. A part from the different gay-ish mannerisms I remember that he complimented both Shane and Jerrede at the cocktail party for their looks and their muscles. Both times it was a little awkward. I Simonsens really hope though that he is straight and that their relationship works. Otherwise how sad would it be being stuck with the wrong gender and on top of that be the target of abuse…. He really send like a good guy
