Ini Clinch knot kan Brother Mas Walang. Tapi cara ikat yang bro tunjukkan agak unik. Mantap bro. saya sudah uji dan buat video tentang ujian kekuatan ikatan/simpulan ini. Sekadar berkongsi dengan rakan2 sahabat pemancing, jangan sesekali gunakan ikatan ini untuk tali sulam/benang/PE/Braid. Kerana saya sudah uji, ikatan ini pasti akan terlucut. manakala, kiranya menggunakan tali monofilament, kekuatan ikatan ini adalah sekitar 65% berbanding kekuatan asal tali.

Clinch knot. neat idea using finger to provode space for running the line through. I prefer the improved clinch knot, seems to be a bit stronger. If using braid, I just run the line twice through the eye before doing the same procedure.

Interesting technique of tying a basic clinch knot, after passing the tag through the loop at the eye run the tag end back through the loop over the twists and it’s an improved clinch.
I believe this is the clinch knot...feed the tag through the top loop for an improved clinch knot. Don't forget to moisten the line to prevent wrinkles.

I agreed with you that the Uni knot being better, but after watching Salt Strong tests I'm not sure now. I've always used the Uni and mucked up the Clinch. But after synching down better I got the Clinch knot to work. As it turns out, according to test on TH-cam by Salt Strong, the Clinch is 14% stronger than the Uni when using Mono. Both knots are the same with Fluoro. But you're right when it comes to tying braid onto swivels or directly to hooks. The Clinch knot slips but the Uni knot doesn't according to Salt Strong who did tests. See the tests on th-cam.com/video/I32GiuQ4hFs/w-d-xo.html And in another test - just adding one more loop thru the eye makes it slightly stronger with Mono (10%) and Fluoro (6%) - this is called a Trilene. Use the Trilene knot on Mono and Flouro. And Uni knots on Braid
An even easier knot is just use a loop knot like you do when you make at the top looped end of snelled hook. Then take the loop end of the line and pass it through the top eye of the swivel and pull the looped end though pass the knot. Then insert the swivel through the loop and pull tight. The swivel can now be easily attached and detached at the beginning and end of every fishing trip without the need to ever cut the line
I've personally lost some big ones with this knot. It's fine for smaller fish but if you get one that's heavy and full of fight from my experience it's not to be trusted. The Palomar is the way to go. I like the Palomar because it uses the line doubled up for it's base spreading out the tension and weight. Palomar - Super strong and reliable.

I know there are better knots out there, but for trout or panfish this one works well and is perfect for the new or infrequent fisherman.

It's not the same. Try it yourself, give it a little pull.
It won't slip once the knot is pulled tight, that's why you leave a slight tag. I use this knot all the time and with braid, never seen it fail.
Knowing my luck, twisting the line with the hook will end up with a hook in my finger.😢🇦🇺

That is a clinch knot. Not the best for bigger fish. I'd highly recommend learning how to tie a uni knot. Works for just about all occasions.

Need at least 6 twists and also need to feed the tag end through the top loop before tightening or it could slip especially with braid
Definitely not a good knot for braid or nano.
Only knot to use with braid is palomar knot.

It can slip, depending on the swivel and the braid. I've seen them slip. A uni knot is much better.
