Great interview!
Trying to impress an all time goal scorer is all…
I hope Tacoma staff is paying attention, I feel like more could be done to bring more people in for the games at Showare.
Appreciate your support of our league and the great legacy brand of the Tacoma Stars.
I look forward to visiting along with our team in March!
What up Budz! BTW Erik, St. Louis was, is and always will be the soccer capital of the United States! BB's history lesson was interesting, but the moniker of the "soccer capital" was established back in the late 1940's, 1950's in St. Louis, with our eight USA National Team members leading the way to a 1-0 victory over England in the 1950 World Cup. I could walk you both through the 60's until the Comets beginning,, but due to time constraints, I'll move forward. BTW, when Budz was kicking that orange and black soccer ball against the brick walls in Kemper, those American boys down on the field mixed in with some foreigners were not from KC, they were from the Lou. Once some of the St Louisan's started residing full time in KC, like Coach BenBen for example, did KC's youth soccer growth begin. I could go on and on! C'mon now fella's! ....lol 😎
Love your passion. But KC > STL! 😉
Seriously though appreciate your support and historical knowledge of the sport.
How many soccer teams does St. Louis have? You can call it the soccer capital again when you have more than one team.
