Just like i dont understand his obsession with mission impossible.Espesialy the last one. Could not stand this cringe about secret agents.
Wait, there are other Pirates movies? I could've sworn Barbosa stayed a Pirate and maintained his rivalry with Jack over the position, Will and Elizabeth made their relationship work, and Jack got his compass from Tia Dalma, something that was definitely not retconned in a bizarre fever dream.
@@josuevillalon1896 I could've sworn it was a trilogy with a satisfying "And they continued their lives offscreen, doing what they do" conclusion. It's not like the Charts would've ever gotten destroyed out of spite or anything.
What I love about Dead Man's Chest and At The World's End is how they stand out from the original with them introducing so many new things and expanding the universe with just the right amount. Still remember the ending and that desperate fight with The Kraken. Davy Jones playing on that organ is iconic.
When the clever, confident, clown stops joking, is scared, desperate, and doesn’t really know what to do or say, you know the villain is not to be taken lightly
I mean it helped that Davy Jones really was extremely terrifying in what he could do. I mean he's not only immortal, but teleportation and the immunity of his ship from the water... Like one of the things that cracked me up is when they shot up his ship and it went under water and then just reformed and rose back up. His ship goes under the water all the time, what were we expecting to happen exactly? Bill Nighy is also just one hell of an imposing villain actor, he really comes across as a jaded and morally bankrupt individual.
Jack Sparrow's intro in the first Pirates' movie when he steps off his sinking boat will always be the highlight of the series for me. Short, concise, told you everything you needed to know about the char. Set us up for one of the greatest film trilogies ever made.
I despise how this and At World's End are always overshadowed by Curse of the Black Pearl when they are infinitely more unique. Thank you for showing these movies some love when no one else does.
I never gave two shits for the first movie lol. I never understand why people say it’s superior! The character writing is not that great compared to its sequels.
Dead Man's Chest ends on a cliffhanger, and At World's End seriously botches the landing for me and a lot of people, so Curse of the Black Pearl ends up as the most cohesive and satisfying of the trilogy, even it's not the most creatively ambitious
@@tmartin95 Summed it up perfectly. The second film has a lot of really cool stuff in it, but you come away feeling like you've only been served half a meal. The first film, which I love, works just fine as its own thing. If I ever watch DMC again I know I'd need to put myself through the headache-inducing, torturous boredom that is ATW.
@@randomplayer9025 thanks for the correction. Nothing as depressing as watching a Marvel behind the scenes. No magic, just a huge green room n actors pushing their imagination to the limit
What’s insane to me is how off the rails the follow ups went, I watched the first 3 as a kid and recently saw the other two on Disney. One of them just full retcons how he got that compass and says if he gives it away he frees a bunch of ghost pirates... a thing we see him do all the time in the first 3 and are explicitly told where it came from XD they really didn’t care about this series continuity after the first 3 (and the quality of the movies after that trilogy really shows it)
I think it would've worked a lot better if they were spin off movies along the lines of "Adventures of Jack Sparrow" rather than a continuation of the Pirates trilogy.
Yeah, 5th one ain't canon, I mean I myself have explained the plot holes from that movie with rules in universe and interactions and past dealings between characters, when you can read between the lines of movie dialog and understanding the characters saying it to decern basically the overall shape of how certain things went down between characters, but yeah, that movie is atrocious Yeah it feels more narratively coherent than the 4th one, but it doesn't have the same feel as the older pirates movies, something the 4th one still had a grasp on
@@spinlok3943 The stupid thing is it can be argued, while he's the primary point of view, Hector Barbosa is more important to Pirates 4/5, than Jack Sparrow. Pirates 4 especially you could replace Jack with anybody else and the plot would be the same, since the plot revolves around the antagonism between Black Beard and Barbosa. Black Beard cheats Barbosa out of the Black Pearl and a fair naval fight by using his voodoo magic, which leads to Barbosa having to cut off his own leg to survive. This leads to Barbosa seeking revenge on Black Beard, which leads him to the Imperial Navy, and in return causes Black Beard to obsess on a fortune of him dying to a one legged man and thus seek the fountain of youth. This then caused Black Beard's daughter to get Jack, which in turn sets up the movie of the Imperial Navy under Barbosa pursuing Black Beard, and the Imperial Navy getting involved in finding the fountain of youth, causes the Spanish Navy to get involved.
Okay, please give me a chance to explain myself. I don't think Dead Man's Chest is flawless. But it almost could've been. Almost everything in this movie is an improvement over the first. The CGI, the action, the music, the plot, the villain, and the comedy. But there is one thing the first film has that this film doesn't: Character development/heart. In the first film, there was clear development and heart. Will and Elizabeth love each other, but can't be together because of societal restrictions. Jack Sparrow was there as a representative of freedom and what piracy offers people. Jack Sparrow was a supporting character meant to enrich the theme. From Dead Man's Chest onwards, Jack Sparrow is the main character, and he doesn't really develop. There isn't much character development in this movie. If there was, I would have no quarrel saying this is not only better than the first, but one of the best action movies ever made. But I can't because that is a big flaw. However, I haven't seen Dead Man's Chest in a while, so maybe I'm wrong.
@@jacksondavies3595 Jack has the most development of all(they all have great character development), from a pirate looking to save his own ass to a pirate who, in the end of dead man’s chest, decided it best to save his ship and crew, then at the end of at worlds end, decided instead of giving himself immortality that he’s been wanting the whole movie he gave it up to save Will, whereas before he was ready to do whatever needed to achieve his goal. Filmento actually broke this down great in his “at worlds end” video
@@jacksondavies3595 1) too flashy. For example the fight on the giant wheel. It is really cool, but doesn't feel like sword fighting. 2) It conveys less drama and emotions than the previous one. It doesn't have the same feel of back and forth and alternating on who has the advantage. I don't mean to say it was bad, I just mean that black pearl had even better stage fighting, namely Wills duel with Jack in the beginning.
Piece of advice: the claim of becoming a lord/lady because of a scottish law has been disproven many times and even got Established Titles into massive problems, some even legal, so advertising as anything BUT a novelty gift could harm your reputation as it did with other creators
To give more context: can you call yourself a lord? Go ahead, no one is stopping you but it is no legal title of peerage and thus doesn't require the piece of land in the first place, so you just spent your money for something you could already do Do you own a piece of land? Most probably not, the company does and holds it in your name on their own property Is it good for the environment? Depends on the way the company claims to achieve these goals like through doing it themselves or donation, but most of these properties are in undeveloped parts lf schottland that are forests anyway so meh
@@columbien10 Look at me, I've been calling myself "Lord Baktor" since I started using the internet because of the power invested in me by me feeling like it.
@@Gojeto346 ok dude, a lot of these creators who promoted established titles or other things like it, didn't realize it was a scam. Their manager, or someone they trusted, pushed it to them, so they thought it ok. He specified in the ad that it wouldn't get you royalty, so that's the part that tells you it's a novelty gift. Regardless, he's probably just oblivious. This man has an actual job in the film industry and probably doesn't have the time to browse the internet all the time, which is why a lot of the meme clips he uses are like months even years old.
How brain dead to people have to be to think paying to plant a tree will make them royalty? This is one of the biggest episodes of internet madness I’ve seen in a while. Trying to turn nothing in to a major issue. I’d rather creators I like get sponsors than worry about anyone being shocked when they are laughed out of Ireland while demanding to be called a lord. Kamykoto knives are a much bigger scam
A movie or a SERIES where the plot is DRIVEN by character MOTIVATIONS and GOALS tends to SUCCEED more often than not. Simple concept, yet largely forgotten in modern Hollywood. This has been one of my favorite movies for almost two decades. Great video, as always. As for the question: Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2.
To me this film like you say is perfection, but only one scene still claims my mind to this day. At the very end where jack is facing the kraken and the line “Hello beastie” all while the music swells is incredible and has yet to be topped for me
You should look into the highland titles thing, sounds like a rebrand of established titles, the whole lord/lady thing is bupkiss, should drop that entirely for just the idea of nature preservation.
Filmento: I'm very impressed that you took your viewers' comments to heart and wrote what you did in your pinned comment. It's comforting to know you have integrity.
CGI had just undergone a revolution back then, people were trying their best to get the most out of it, same reason why Jurassic Park still holds up pretty well. After the revolution, people copy the workflow but without the passion and cutting corners on the budget, until you get into the lazy state of today's CGI.
My favourite trilogy ever since i was a kid, i remember buying one of those POTC lego sets with a ship for me to build. I probably watched these movies a 100th times front and back.
I love the contrasting villain of Lord Beckett next to dirty pirates and fish monsters the most intimidating guy is a small eloquent and impeccably dressed gentleman
The reason why I like this movie so much (besides good plot and character writing) is how insanely good the effects are. Like, holy shit, even today, the Davy Jones crew looks amazing, especially considering the movie came out 16 (!) years ago. 16! *crumbles to dust*
A few months ago, I went out with some friends to the mall and found the entire Pirates trilogy on sale at an FYE. Naturally, I bought it, and my parents and I rewatched the entire trilogy not long afterward. Dead Man's Chest definitely stood out to me as the best. At World's End was a great spectacle, but the story was significantly less coherent than the second one.
I saw the movie first when I was like 8, I didn't think much of it at first, I liked it but I was a kid and didn't really understand the movie, I rewatched it when I was 16 and I didn't realize just how genuinely good the movie was, it became one of my favorite movies of all time and I've watched it multiple times since, but it really is a genius movie that truly highlights the pirates of the Caribbean world and what it's capable of
Just saw it again after 15 years - and I am SO agreeing with you! I remember leaving the cinema back then, thinking: Now THAT is how you do a sequel! That's Empire Strikes Back style! I couldn't understand the lukewarm reviews it got. I was entertained throughout. And pumped for World's End. (Which was great as well, sue me.)
If they offer him enough money I’m sure he’d come back. Something like 90% of people asked now believe him entirely after the court case and since it was those accusations that got them to remove him that reason is now gone.

Hey man please we need an analysis of Puss in Boots 2 and especially of the character Death/Wolf. I swear I’m not easily scared but that whistle made me chill
@@dailyhydration- Ones that do narrative reviews? To be honest, I don't really care about video game stories, I care more about gameplay, but maybe a channel that does plot reviews is still interesting? So could you suggest some?
Fun Fact Disney did a crossover with the video game Sea of thieves to tell a new narrative about Jacks adventures after the fifth movie and it combines the stories and lore of both worlds to tell an amazing adventure, it was called Sea of thieves a pirates life and it even gave us answers to the Davy Jones end credit scene form pirates five
I amazes me that after the reveal of established titles being a scam went viral and everyone dropped them that anyone would accept a sponsorship from a clone. Sure, the website is honest if you read the footnotes but come one, it's still a scam, it's just open about it being a scam.
Dude, it's like buying a plot of land on the Moon, or having some random star named after you; it's not _meant_ to be taken seriously... it's just a bit of novelty.
I’m only just now realizing that the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are essentially a pirate version of red dead redemption as it’s about the end of an era, where lawless men that once did whatever that pleased are now being hunted by the government.
honestly i'm not surprised you chose this movie to end the year but i'm not complaining though, because Dead Man's Chest is peak Pirates. Also, maybe next year you can make a video on Avatar (the first movie (and no, i'm not talking about "The Last Airbender"))? i mean, i think it could be interesting to see why it became so forgettable despite making millions at the box office.
Made millions because of surface level gimmicks (3D, CGI characters, etc), had no staying power because the actual story is basically a ripoff of Pocahontas. There, video done.
I really wish Filmento would review just why, Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2 - Is such an iconic villain, I've watched hundreds of movies and played hundreds of games, but this damn villain is so memorable in a way that I'd never experienced before.
Sad to tell you my friend, but Highland Titles is a scam just like Established Titles. Easiest way to prove is in the fact that a private company cannot bestow titles of lordship or ladyship on you and owning land isn't anywhere connected to having a title. (Titles are mainly hereditary for one.) Just like the other one, this is a scam. Which is a pity because other than this foul taste in the mouth, your video is great! I love the Pirates trilogy and this just gave me more reasons to enjoy and appreciate what they did with it. Great analysis as always and I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your work in 2023! Happy holidays!
I love dead’s man chest, it’s awesome, no matter where in the story you know it’s just a smaller step to a bigger story. And the CLIFFHANGER at the end was amazing.
I just watched a review of the whole franchise and the guy said DMC is the weakest of the original three and I really wanted to watch a video praising the movie after that since it is my favorite so thank you.
15:18 These "buy land in Scotland to become a Lord" things are mostly a scam. The land is too small to officially be sold, so you don't *officially* own it, you're just logged in the company's records. And yeah, you can call yourself a "Lord" or "Lady" on credit cards, but you can already do that anyway.
dude your editing and meme-insertion skills are on point! your videos always make me laugh, and add to the reasoning and quality of your videos I have 2 questions: How do I get to your level of editing or meme-ing? It would be insane to have S-tier editing such as yours Would you ever review Pacific Rim? It's my favorite movie, and I think it has many things which separate it from other films and makes it unique. You could make a video tearing it apart and call it the worst movie ever, and I'd still love it because of your style
I can't believe they are actually replacing Johnny with an all female cast for the next movie. It will fail, and they will blame men for not supporting it. Johnny is THE pirate of the Carribean. He can never be replaced
Me forever defending gore verbinski’s amazing trilogy! 🎥 ☠️☠️☠️ (Part 1) For anybody who is always praising the first movie to be the best. I have been studying 1-3 and I constantly re-watch them. Pirates of the Caribbean does not go downhill in writing after the first movie. That is your business to believe that opinion everyone else goes with. Dead man’s chest gave the characters more depth! Elizabeth and William barely have anything to work with in the first movie. William’s relationship with his father that was hinted in the first movie of his father‘s existence. Paid off wonderfully. William’s character had way more in depth now and you have something to truly care about him for. You get both perspectives when you understand their Reunion! Bootstrap didn’t want Will to become a pirate like him, he wanted him to have a free life from the pirate life. William had a hard time accepting he was half Pirate but when he accepted his life and his father… He has a new journey to stab the heart of Davy Jones to set his father free. And you’re implying William is better in the first movie just because he wanted to save the girl he loved? William in the second movie now has Elizabeth as a lover. And now a new journey to rescue his father someone else he cares about. And this became a difficult situation when bootstrap told Elizabeth at world‘s end. William has to make a decision. Either don’t kill Davy Jones so he can be with you. Or he does kill Davy Jones and set me free, but he won’t be able to be on land for 10 years. If I were him I wouldn’t pick me! 😕 The emotional weight on William’s character gets better and better. Elizabeth in the first movie was just a damsel in distress girl. She wasn’t useless in the first movie but you get the point. In the second movie, Elizabeth learned to wield a sword and she used it in the battle. She pulled a gun to Beckett‘s head.. went on her own journey to save will. She has grown a lot since the first movie who was just an innocent girl! Elizabeth got better as a character in 2 and 3! As for Jack sparrow. He does not become a joke at all in all 3 movies. Jack sparrow is at his best in the second movie and in the third movie. There was a moment in dead men’s chest… Where Jack didn’t know what he truly wanted so the compass couldn’t locate what he desired. So when Elizabeth went on her journey and then found Jack.. Jack used her for his advantage! He took advantage of Elizabeth’s feelings by telling her if you want to save Will you have to want to find the chest of Davy Jones! In order to get will back.. That’s why Jack gave her the compass. Jack knew if he couldn’t figure what he wanted out he was going to get it out of Elizabeth. Since Elizabeth now wants to find the chest of Davy Jones to save will. This gives Jack the huge opportunity to find the chest to stab the heart in it. But instead he wants to control DavyJones before killing him. Jack sparrow is not stupid! When will was trying to stab the heart towards the end of the second movie. Jack knows just because Davy Jones is dead, does not mean the Kraken will be stopped as well. And you’re telling me Jack is dumb after part 1?? As for Beckett. He was a well executed villain who uses dialogue and negotiation to control people. The Reason why Beckett didn’t fire his cannons at worlds end. Was because it would be totally out of his character to use weapons. Beckett uses certain words to get through people and how to control them behind the scenes. Beckett at the end of the movie had nothing left to negotiate with. Davy Jones was dead, Jack sparrow is alive and well. Will Turner is now the new captain of the Flying Dutchman. Beckett had literally nothing to use against on people. He was caught in shocked and he decided to die.. Anyways I could defend the Gore Verbinski’s Trilogy all night. His trilogy is an underrated trilogy. It had great character writing and amazing detail of its depth. Also Will vs Davy Jones!!! 😈😈😈 when Will challenging Davy Jones. Davy Jones asks him how do you know about the key? Will replies and says, that's NOT part of the game is it? 😏 You can STILL walk away!! 😏 As for pirates 4/5 they are not even Canon they are filler movies. The story ended at worlds end! ☠️ (Part 2) Dead man’s chest has a very simple plot.. Jack sparrow is the master at controlling peoples hearts to get what he wants and out of a situation. He screwed over Will so Jack can save himself… But it worked in his favor for his reunion to meet his father.. William even told Jack you screwed me over but because of you I was reunited with my father after such a long time.. Elizabeth was caught in Jack’s illusion of trusting him to get Will back that had nothing to do with him which was a lie. Will being on Davy Jones ship had everything to do with Jack lol. Jack left on good terms with Elizabeth and William in the first movie. Elizabeth had every right to believe Jack…. It was Jack who took advantage of her feelings to find the chest by telling her if you want to find will you need to find the chest of Davy Jones! But it was an illusion so Jack can get closer to find the chest of Davy Jones to control him. But to also go back and save will after Jack got what he wanted. If people don’t understand these movies that’s their problem. But I understand every movie! That’s why I rank 2>3>1 ☠️☠️☠️ (Part 3) I’m sorry to break it to you but the curse of the Black Pearl is my least favorite in the trilogy. I rewatch the trilogy every few months. And to me I just don’t find it as deep or as interesting compared to dead man’s chest or at worlds end. Curse of the Black Pearl is still a well written amazing film. It’s just I’d rather choose having William struggle on trying to save his father from Davy Jones along side using very clever strategy and dialogue during the dice liar game on Davy Jones to get key from him.. VS William in the first movie who just wants to save Elizabeth…. I love darker storytelling and when steaks are becoming higher! Dead man’s chest gave me everything.. Elizabeth was a useful damsel in stress female lead in the first movie. But I would rather choose her character development in the second movie compared to her in the first movie. Elizabeth pulled a gun on Beckett’s face. She went on her own journey to save William. Who also taught her how to defend herself with swords. And that paid off well at the end of the movie! Her development is miles better in (Dead mens chest) compared to herself in the first movie who just takes the fall for William to protect him from Barbosa. Jack sparrow’s dialog and clever intelligence grew (MORE) in (dead men’s chest) and (at worlds end) and you cannot convince me otherwise. If people think he became a joke after the first movie that sounds like a (YOU PROBLEM) Jack sparrow is pretty intelligent in the second movie on being a master at manipulation and taking advantage of people around him to get himself out of a situation in order to save his life and possibly everyone else’s. He just knows how to play the game like that….. You can’t trust Jack sparrow on making the right decisions because he’s supposed to be ahead of the game on everyone’s perspective on him. If Jack was easy to follow with answers he wouldn’t be Jack sparrow lol. Not to mention what’s with this opinion on people saying Jack sparrow was someone you should not mess with?? Jack sparrow literally wants you to mess with him so he can use that to his advantage to pull you in under his string, for you to doubt him in order to rise up above everyone else. You were caught in his illusion the entire time so he can be superior at the end of the situation and screw you over. If Jack sparrow was someone to NOT mess with, just like Davy Jones.. Then you wouldn’t be caught in Jack sparrow’s illusion on being the worst pirate in the world.. No seriously if Jack had the same fear approach as Davy Jones…. Then all you would have to do were to look at Jack sparrow for a few seconds and be so scared of him, Everyone would just run away.. literally what’s the fun in that for Jack Sparrow?! If he was someone to not mess like people claim. Then (WHY) do people keep on assisting 100% on messing with Jack Sparrow?? Please answer that man lol. That literally makes no sense… 😂
Seriously agree. The first one gets so much favoritism just because people are afraid to branch out and go further into the other two. My favorite is at world's end for the epic finale, but dead man's chest is objectively incredible.
This is why nightmare on elm street 3 and terminator 2 are such great sequel movies. They build upon the previous levels of tension and further the story while raising the stakes
Finally, today, I'm gonna stop just lurking around and I subscribed. Especially since you added official subtitles. Love how you analyze the movies. As a casual movie watcher, it's great to hear someone put into words, so knowledgeable and eloquently, why a movie was "Woohooo, yeah!", "Hmm, meh, I guess...?" or a big "Hell no, I'm outta here!". This is indeed an amazing sequel. I still love watching it and could probably spend the whole running time just watching the face tentacles move or observe all the details of the ship's crew. Very imaginative people worked really hard on this, and it shows! As for other really good sequels my mind always jumps to "Spiderman 2" (Raimi) and "Winter Soldier". And I always get a lot of eyerolls about Spiderman, but the action, soundtrack, effects, fight scenes, personal growth. I won't let it go. The maskless train scene still makes me tear up and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

i dont like it, only the first movie is great. I cant understand why he mentions sequelse all the time. I think he went to the cinema when he was young and have been impressed since then. Just like i dont understand his obsession with mission impossible.Espesialy the last one. Could not stand this cringe about secret agents.
@@антонжиглов-с9д bruh what
The first 3 pirates are some of my favorite movies of all time. Unlimited rewatchability, always a great time
Damn right
Wait, there are other Pirates movies? I could've sworn Barbosa stayed a Pirate and maintained his rivalry with Jack over the position, Will and Elizabeth made their relationship work, and Jack got his compass from Tia Dalma, something that was definitely not retconned in a bizarre fever dream.
There’s like 5 or 6 pirates of Caribbean movies I believe
@@josuevillalon1896 I could've sworn it was a trilogy with a satisfying "And they continued their lives offscreen, doing what they do" conclusion. It's not like the Charts would've ever gotten destroyed out of spite or anything.
Same here and they also explain why I find Keira Knightly a smoke show.
What I love about Dead Man's Chest and At The World's End is how they stand out from the original with them introducing so many new things and expanding the universe with just the right amount. Still remember the ending and that desperate fight with The Kraken. Davy Jones playing on that organ is iconic.
That’s the same reason I also love the Matrix trilogy.
@@Logan912 I don't think it's the same thing, but if you enjoy those sequels, then you enjoy those sequels.
Agreed. But all 3 first films are great.
The first movie wasn't great, bu it was fun. Second and especially third are a mess.
Damn I didn’t know the Kraken attack scene had no blue screen besides the tentacles. Can’t believe they actually collapsed a ship for this
yeah, I honestly thought it was CGI. Marvel has really spoiled us
@@josephbassey1501 ruined*
Spoiled sounds like we've been getting the best things ever
@@randomplayer9025 thanks for the correction. Nothing as depressing as watching a Marvel behind the scenes. No magic, just a huge green room n actors pushing their imagination to the limit
This is great cinema, a good mix of animatronics, sets and cgi
Yeah, 5th one ain't canon, I mean I myself have explained the plot holes from that movie with rules in universe and interactions and past dealings between characters, when you can read between the lines of movie dialog and understanding the characters saying it to decern basically the overall shape of how certain things went down between characters, but yeah, that movie is atrocious
Yeah it feels more narratively coherent than the 4th one, but it doesn't have the same feel as the older pirates movies, something the 4th one still had a grasp on
I kind of liked the 4th one. What helps is that it had the same writers as the first three.
@@spinlok3943 I pretty much consider them spin-offs.
Very rarely will you ever be able to call a film flawless.
This is one of those films you can call flawless.
I think the fight choreography had some room for improvement (movie 1 set the bar really high), but it's a really great movie.
@@PiiskaJesusFreak How exactly is the fight choreography worse?
@@jacksondavies3595
1) too flashy.
To give more context:
can you call yourself a lord? Go ahead, no one is stopping you but it is no legal title of peerage and thus doesn't require the piece of land in the first place, so you just spent your money for something you could already do
Do you own a piece of land? Most probably not, the company does and holds it in your name on their own property
Is it good for the environment? Depends on the way the company claims to achieve these goals like through doing it themselves or donation, but most of these properties are in undeveloped parts lf schottland that are forests anyway so meh

Black Adam is a perfect example of a main character with NO motivation or goals. #Fail
This actually is an amazing film, and yes, the CGI is still unbeaten, Davey Jones looks so fkn incredible
One of best movie endings of all time , makes me goose bumps every time.
I cannot believe how these CGIs can be much better than CGI we have today.
CGI had just undergone a revolution back then, people were trying their best to get the most out of it, same reason why Jurassic Park still holds up pretty well. After the revolution, people copy the workflow but without the passion and cutting corners on the budget, until you get into the lazy state of today's CGI.

I’ve always liked the 2nd one the most. It’s a masterpiece.
Wow, I was actually thinking of going on a Pirates of the Caribbean movie binge, this seals it for me.

Who honestly believed that you could buy a Scottish lordship for a few bucks? It is and always has been a gag gift.

This trilogy is just perfection.
Its always great when you talk about this franchise.
15:18 These "buy land in Scotland to become a Lord" things are mostly a scam. Absolutely Outstanding!
People don’t mention this film enough
These movies have been and always will be the best of all time in my opinion. It's so cool hearing you talk about them
Me forever defending gore verbinski’s amazing trilogy! 🎥 ☠️☠️☠️
(Part 1) For anybody who is always praising the first movie to be the best.
when Will challenging Davy Jones.
Davy Jones asks him how do you know about the key?
Will replies and says, that's NOT part of the game is it? 😏 You can STILL walk away!! 😏
As for pirates 4/5 they are not even Canon they are filler movies. The story ended at worlds end! ☠️
(Part 2) Dead man’s chest has a very simple plot..
That’s why I rank 2>3>1 ☠️☠️☠️
(Part 3) I’m sorry to break it to you but the curse of the Black Pearl is my least favorite in the trilogy.
I love the first 2 but the third always feels embarrassing from how hard they are trying.
@@dailyhydration- THANK YOU!! ☠️☠️☠️

The maskless train scene still makes me tear up and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
i dont think you should take that sponsor, there has been a crackdown on Lord/Lady title business scheme and it is most likely a scam. just a friendly advice
Filmento might not have a choice in sponsors. Also he is Krakhozian, so he might not have heard yet ;) Also busy. But I agree, I hope this is the last time we see this sponsor here.
Saw this movie on release in 2006 and it's been one of my favorites of all time since walking out of the theater.
Not the highland titles!
I was waiting for another Dead Man’s Chest video by Filmento!!!
I strongly encourage any Pirates fan to check out the new Puss in Boots movie! No joke, it’s basically a new actually good Pirates movie. A lot of scenes reminded me of Dead Man’s Chest specifically. It has that magic combination of Action, Charisma, Energy and a touch of heart. It’s also got an amazing and creative anime/spider verse. inspired art style! It needs better numbers so do yourself a favor and check it out! You too Filmento, I know you’ve been starving for an actually good Pirates movie for a while
I watch first three movie multiple times, every time i have discover something new and i will watch them again in hope finding something new.
Can someone talk about how the Puss in boots 2 story would also be a perfect final story for cpt jack?
Can we talk ab the fact that filmento sounds like death from puss in boots
Id watch a 100 vids of you talking about Pirates its just so good
9th attempt of asking you to do a video on The Lost World Jurassic Park
Also, I’m surprised not as many people seem to talk about Davy Jones’ CGI, which was made three years before avatar.
Honestly Jones looks far more realistic than any of the blue cat people. And that's including both Avatars.
@@2goodsharks that's what I'm sayin
I was really disappointed by Avatar (probably especially as everyone made it out to be the best thing ever), because of Davy Jones still fresh in my mind.
Can you talk about Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. I think that it was genuinely one of my favorite animated movies ever.
As for your question, Filmento: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It upped the emotional core of the original, had a stronger, more memorable villain, and progressed the characters arcs in meaningful ways!
Omg that doorbell ring scared the shit out of me. I'm alone in a building cleaning cause I'm a janitor and then BOOM! Doorbell in my ear lmao not something you hear when you're supposed to be alone 😂 awesome vid by the way my dude. I listen to a lot of your vids while I'm at work and I just gotta say, I can't wait for a new upload from you. You quickly became one of my new favorites. Keep up the awesome work!
Please don't tell me he accepted a sponsorship from another scam titles company
I love it when filmento says things that I start applying to other movies and things just click. If you apply everything he says to Empire strikes back, or X-men 2, or Terminator 2, or even the god fauther 2, it all works.
I was crying laughing already in just under 3 min. You killed it on this one my friend 👏👏👏
Because of the sponsor.
I love when my favorite channels release things on my birthday!
Do Puss In Boots 2!
