What I like about the first the most is the atmosphere. It felt dark and foreboding, and the secresy and conspiracy of the story actually made you feel like an assassin. The later ones felt more like open world action adventure games. They were fun but after 7 games it was too much so I moved on.
@@abrahammontes2361 As for me,what I hated the most about the older ones is that we could assasinate any target very easly even If we played it on the highest difficulty and their open worlds were so boring and soulless.On the other hand,AC Origins,Odysse and Valhalla have many hard core boss fights and targets very hard to be killed If we play them on the highest difficulty.Besides they have amazing and enchanting open worlds which are imbued with countless stuff to be discovered.That is why I admire AC ORIGINS,ODYYSSE AND VALHALLA and hate the previous games of the saga

You probably played on PC that's why it looks like a great improvement between AC1 and AC 4/Rogue to you. If you played the original PS3 version of AC4/Rogue it looks like shitty AC1 graphics but also lags like bitch in heavy scenes. There's literally no way you could have better graphics on old hardware like PS3. And it works like that on any console, they are already at their peak on the release and don't get any better with time, the only thing developers can possibly do is do some tricks with optimisation or rendering and add different effects so it appears like it's better graphics
I would love an Assassin's Creed 1 remake done properly and made to be less repetitive with modern controls the time and location was chefs kiss. Even a Templar one set in the middle ages would be cool.

I’m sorry to say, but there are about to be 35 games with the release of assassins creed shadows. I’m quite the curator of ac games, even the most obscure of them. (Btw this is ONLY COUNTING FULL ACTUAL GAMES THERE ARE TECHNICALLY MORE). Thought the “main games” most people know, there’s only 18-20 depending on your definition.

It always amazed me how AC1 all the way up to AC Rogue is literally all the same generation, despite the massive progress made between them
