Have been religiously watching this build from when you purchased it. Every week I settle in with a beery and watch the next phase. Hearing it start up with that nice rumble was emotional even for me. What a journey so far! Can’t wait to see next week. Bloody ripper job mate.
Love your videos mate. Great to see a good unpretentious couple getting on with life and enjoying it. You both compliment each other. Learning as you go. Love it. Keep up the good work. I own an XT600E . Stay safe on the road bro. I’m getting over a broken wrist at the moment. Courtesy of a truck driver doing a u turn at lights. Nearly 60 and still doing what I love.👍😎
Holy smokes, Little Lucifer is a smoking awesome bike. Well done Mark. Hopefully your next rebuild will go just as awesome as this one. Love your enthusiasm. Keep on keeping on👍😎
Hey Mark, good to see you hammering towards the fixed jaw of the vice, I wondered if you would remember. Good job on the Virago coming on OK. Cheers, BADOLDBIKER.
Mark, for a $2300 bike it looks bloody mint!!!! You have done a fantastic job for a bloke having a go in HIS (will be soon) own backyard, Top bloody job mate!!!!
Look awesome as. Always a proud moment i reckon when you see a project that you've spent so much time and thought in coming together. Hearing it start up must of be a good feeling. You've done well. Ran the race, gone the distance and the finish line is just around the next bend.
Great job Mark , I've never done anything like restore a bike , but now I know it's possible for a backyarder ( me not you ) to have a crack at. Bloody good onya.
Hi again from S California Mark. First of all, condolences on losing your mom. Just a thought about your seat pan... you could use what you have built as a form and lay up a quick fiberglass seat pan. I would worry a little about the metal pan contacting the wiring or battery. Nice looking build. I look forward to spending time watching your videos everyday! Congratulations on buying your house!
What a beauty! That's a cracking job, Mark, and a real bargain for whoever buys it. I always like the pragmatic way you solve each problem as it comes along and your attention to detail. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series from the moment you collected the rusty heap to its rebirth as a svelte, black'n'moody thing of beauty. Excellent stuff! 👍
I just noticed you have my name on the board from when I bought some parts from you, that’s pretty cool :). I upgraded from my 250virago so now I’m going to turn it into an off-road bike, something to take on the highway and dirt roads or trails to go camping. Going to paint it army green and bolt on a couple metal ammo boxes for panniers.
has been such a pleasure watching the journey of the virago from start to finish and how good of a job you did, I myself own a virago and am a learner rider and I love the thing, awesome series mate, and a bloody awesome outcome of a bike!
It's been fun watching you build this bike. I'm impressed in the transformation. I think your crazy to sell it for $500 though. I mean it's awesome for a patron to buy but I would like you to be able to keep on making video's and building more bike. But if you are going to lose so much on each build I don't know how you could keep doing it. Just a thought. Cheers.
Hi Mark. Have you thought about adding an automotive type clear coat finish to the tank to help protect the paint even further? Might help I figure.....
I just went back to the first episode and looked at the bike from then to now Holly cow what a build ! Next you should do a 250 adventure bike You bloody legend
Hey Mark great vid as always, if you have a bit of steel tubing laying around you can use it as a spacer in between the front seat mount and it will stop any bending as you tighten it up, also will hide the bolt thread :)
Bike is looking fantastic! I wonder if you might want to glue some inner tube rubber to the insides of the rear seat bracket to prevent it from scratching the paint when you lift and lower the seat?
hey mate. bike is looking good. it amazing how cheap it can get for a good looking bike . have you ever considered going with a fatter front tyre and smaller front wheel guard. i think it will mean. nice work
Have to say good job.... #ShakeDown #BlueLoctiteIsYourFriend. Not sure I understand the seat bracket. I was expecting on the back of the seat to have spring mounts. #Cushion for the Cushion. Other than that. Good Job. Looks Sharp.
Mark, I just got rid of the right and left side chrome egg/pod things on my 250 a couple of days ago, and I can tell ya, mate, you already have a beautiful bracket ready to go for that smaller filter. I used the small bracket that was behind the left side pod holding the thermistor (I think that's what someone said it is). It was holding a small sensor with just two wires. The sensor was slipped into a small rubber deal that was slipped on to the bracket. I wish I could take a pic and show you how well it bolted to the other side. Do you frequent a 250 forum, like viragotechforum.com ? if so, maybe I'll get a pic of the bracket and how I mounted the small filter. Looks great!
Bikes looking fantastic mate. Let me know if you want a road crew for your trip up to echuca. Me and Jimmy will join you. Great place echucha, gives us a chance to pick up some more Port.. If so mate let me know what tool kit you want for the bike and i will donate it. I think you still have my mobile number 👍👍 Andy

+1 You should have an auction for your channel or for those flying docs after the build!
I definitely thought there would be at least one episode of you trying to figure out why the bike won't start. Great job you've done!

P.S I agree. At least sell it for what you paid for the original bike. Everything else is gravy to the buyer. #My2cents
