Ramsey changed my life. Been debt free since 2018. Then paid off my house 3 years ago. Yesterday I put in an offer on a new house with 45% down since I was intentional towards my goals. I’m 30 years old now and I couldn’t imagine where I would be if I didn’t follow the baby steps!

These baby steps changed my life. I took 2 jobs and paid off 2 cars and $22,000 in CC debt. My parents didn't teach me about money. I thought debt was normal.
Congrats! I relate to you about lacking parental guidance on money. What I learnt about money is all mostly through the internet.
I had to learn about how bad credit card debt is after watching videos about people incurring huge amounts of interest fees due to late payment. The fact that this is normal is sad. It being normal doesn’t mean it’s okay.

I grew up in abject poverty with a burning desire to NEVER live that way when I left home. I bought the lies just like George said. The credit cards, the auto and student loans, etc.
I'm on baby step 1 now, digging myself out. Thank you Dave, George and the entire crew for giving me HOPE!
I too used the debt snowball when I finally realized I was doing it to myself. I went from homeless to a millionaire in less than 15 years. I will actually have more money in retirement than I ever had while working. Early on I denied myself any sort of treats as I really couldn't afford them, but now, I do what I want when I want. I travel all over the world and often. I am a bit frugal in what I do, but I still do everything I want. I haven't had any debt for about 11 years now and I even buy vehicles with cash. I don't even make six figures....so if I can do it, any one can. I also got a degree in that time without debt. You can do it!

The Ramsey programs and principals are changing my life. I have always been quite good with money through hard work and being super frugal and never taking on a debt except a home. I didn't do everything as suggested but I did a lot...in my own way. Our only debt is our mortgage, and this was paying for myself through college, living through a divorce/remarriage with one half of the assets lost and raising and educating four children between us. If only I knew the strategy of saving $100.00 a month at age 20..then... but I did not. I SO APPRECIATE all of these strategies and tips. Please keep this going!!

Alright then, I love the content, Yep! I want your book. I hope, really hope you included some info about how bad decisions while young could have you living in your car when you are old. Those school loans will follow you into Social Security land and yep you will be paying those loans out of those funds. Think before jumping into ANY debt, the life you save maybe your own.
