Top interview,
2 things I learned:
1) The fact that the United players were close friends on and off the pitch and the mutual respect of breaking through brick walls (when Nani needed stitches to his head and continued playing) = winning mentality
2) The toughest part of his career was away from the games it was in training and before the game 2 touch.
Shouldn’t have been allowed to leave at that point
Nani has such a fun personality. You can tell people can open up around such a fun personality
A bit more facial hair on him, but pretty much looks exactly the same as he did when I were a kid. Great guy. Underrated baller.

I died with the Sir Alex stories man 😂😂😂 Nani is hilarious. It’s sad that after Sir Alex’s departure, Nani wasn’t given the respect or the opportunities he deserved.
Also the voice impression he did for SAF is hilarious lol.

There's alot happens behind the scene that we don't know. We all just blamed Nani for leaving. Truth is he was treated poorly 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦💪🏿💪🏿ggmu
But do united players right now do not have the desire for the club only looking at their pay day
You don’t know what you’ve lost until it’s gone… md Nani is the perfect example of this. He was an incredible (frustrating at times) talent and would nuke any players we have now for talent, end product, final pass, shooting and work rate. Top guy with a successful career because of hard work. Brilliant from Nani

I still remember when Nani played against Bayern before we were knocked out. That performance in the UCL will live with me. His desire to sprint even when he was fatigued is what is lacking in United today.

That car story is so heartwarming. Even though Nani missed a penalty and Fergie destroyed him and Giggsy in the dressing room, later on during the drive back, Fergie went “it’s okay son, just try and hit it harder into the corners”. Also speaks volumes about how Nani said sorry for missing the penalty, humble enough to do so. They must all have so much respect for SAF and he was like a father to them. Tough love but very supportive.
Wow! Listening to the his relationship with Sir Alex and noticing when people say that Sir Alex was a father figure to that squad. Best manager ever.
Watching this makes me fall in love with United all over again. Seeing the kind of relationships the players had brings out the beauty of football. Great personality from Nani.
This interview makes one thing clear - CR7 demands more because the dressing room he was part of before he went to Madrid, was all about winning trophies .. not these hopeless boys who are called Man Utd players currently!!
This went so quick for me, remember walking to Carrington just a ten min walk from my house, Nani always stopped and chatted with the fans. Rio too, he stopped a lot too. I can name a few that used just fly past in Lambos and Ferrari and never stopped, won’t name and shame. But these two understood United fans and always stopped and chatted

Nani is right , this United side lack the Desire and hunger to fight for each other and for themselves. The moment they go a goal down they look defeated, that would never have happened during Sir Alex days . Players like that would have been shown the door but this United side is focused on revenue and shirt sales than performances

My favorite player in Futbol. Always played with Joy, Passion, Skills. The celebrations, dribbles, goals - just a joy to watch. Thanks for the memories Nani - they were some of the best i've had as a Futbol fan.

Love the confidence he had in himself. So indicative of his approach to the game. Always willing to receive the ball in tight areas, play forward passes, beat a man and make things happen. Even when it wasn't coming off for him, he'd always play with that same positivity. Always believed something amazing could happen when he had the ball at his feet. Such a shame that lesser players like Young and Valencia took away some of his game time in the latter years under SAF. Top top footballer.

One of the most frustrating players I’ve watched. That game away against Arsenal in 2010 when him and Rooney absolutely destroyed them in the counter attack is one of my favourite memories.

Arsenal, AC Milan, Bayern were some of his best moments. His problem was consistency, in the big games he showed up. SAF should have started him in the 2011 UCL final instead of Valencia. Might have offered more threat. Shame how Van Gaal chopped heads randomly and gave very little opportunities to the good SAF players that still had value.
Nani hasn't aged a dot! One of my favourite players back in the day. You never knew what to expect when he received the ball but when he turned it on he was unplayable.
Nani's was literally my favourite United player growing up. I remember my friends would laugh at me for thinking he was amazing. But yea he was brilliant

What i would give to go back to 2005-2010 Premier league era..I was super crazy fan of Man Utd..These guys were my heroes growing up..My room was full of Man Utd stickers ..I use to get a haircut called Nani back then ..Man what a good old days..I don’t watch much football as I used to nowadays but I still watch old football clips and interviews of footballers I grew up watching

Nani driving Sir AF after the missed penalty was hilarious and aligned to what so many have said about him being able to balance the tough feedback with caring moments.
Listening to Nani makes me understand that this team was strong because they were not team mates but family playing for each other and standing for each other. I miss those days.
I miss getting frustrated by Nani! Had a great career at United and our best player in the 10/11 season.

I love how nani pretty much said that Cristiano loves and respects teammates who also are proud and competitve, he hates soft ass snowflakes. And the fact most of the current players are soft as hell, explains why Ronaldo isn't feeling it at all.

Nani was one of my favourite players during he tenure at utd. He always got compared to CR7 which I thought was unfair. That first half of the season where he scored something like 12 goals before Xmas was mad. Running from the halfway line against Bolton and he deft chips 😭😍

What Nani said at 35: 11 to 36: 11 is exactly why Ronaldo owes no one anything at Man united now.. It's why you can't blame him... Nani's my FAVOURITE United player of all time! Loved this interview. Specifically his opinion on this players lack of desire in the current squad. I swear, as inconsistent and crap people may have thought he was, he'd walk into our current team! I wish he got more minutes against us in the pre-season game.
