  • Reliving my childhood memories with this one, the scent leaves sauce is not only tasty but extremely nutritious. In line with our quarantine recipes, this is also very budget friendly.
    You can eat with Yam, Plantains, Potatoes and even Rice, it can be coarse or even blended very smooth before frying.
    Don't know what scentleaves are?? or Don't have it in your area? You can use Basil, Tulsi, Thai basil, they are very close relatives.

    This is wonderful. I love eating yam. The wonderful things is that foodies and spice brings a particular food and make them into different recipes, therefore you must love I particular recipe of that food. Thanks to Iyaibeji for being creative in terms of food. For those who are not following foodies and spice they are missing a lot.

    When you said washed Scent Leaf, do you mean washing it like bitter leaf, or just washing dirts off the leaf.

    Pls my question is mint are called efirin or basil

    • @FoodiesAndSpice
      @FoodiesAndSpice  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, mint is mint, effirin is scent leaves, Basil is a specie of scent leaves OR scent leaves is another specie of our Nigerian scent leaves

    • @samuelakinola7052
      @samuelakinola7052 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FoodiesAndSpice ma, thanks but mint looks exactly like efirin and the basil didn't even near the look of efirin because when I get the shop it looks different. I also Google it and mint is called scent leaves so am confused anyways thanks for your reply. Mint also can be put in hot water and drink cheers
