The Nightmare series is also known as the Curse of the Spider Queen series. In Fly High, the Spider Queen slowly corrupts the young witches and after Yoohyeon, kills a captured spider, the Queen is angry and curses them to become Nightmares. Just before the Nightmares are unleashed to the world, JiU who hasn't succumbed to her corrupt side yet, manages to shut the main gate and create a dreamcatcher spell to keep them trapped inside the school/mansion grounds.
The next two MVs with the Hunter, Chase Me and Good Night follow. Then it's You And I, What and Piri where the girls are captured by the Spider Queen and are trapped in Nightmares. First Yoohyeon, then the rest. Piri was initially the official ending of the series. However, in their Japanese album, The Beginning of the End, there is a song called Breaking Out. This less known MV concludes the series, with the girls managing to cut the red threads of fate and reunite as Dreamcatchers.

but yeah fly high is the prequel to chase me and you are right, the spider has a big part in the story but the plot is just an added bonus so don't be too concerned about. enjoy your commentary and take on the songs :)
