I'm also against reservations for people below a certain economic level. Mainly because, in India, unfortunately the corruption levels are beyond every possible limits. For example, the state government reserved plots / flats, for people with economic backward class, are allocated to certain well politically connected rich people or well off people. Reservations could be for DESERVING STUDENTS, who's parents cannot afford the fees. Rajiv ji you're doing a great job. Keep your great work going.
Firstly, India is a post modern colonial English term for what was traditionally known by the indigenous Vedic population as Bharat. It came to be called India, because it was considered by the western invaders as the land East of the river Indus. Secondly, the marauding of these native peoples started with the Mughal invasion around 1526 under Babur and Islam grew considerably over the next 200 or so years and since. About that time, came the first wave of colonisation and Christian evangelisation by the Europeans.. the Portuguese, the Dutch, French, n the conniving English around 1600 with their charter to trade from Queen Elizabeth l. Here it is crucially important to understand the part the Catholic Church and it's head, pope Alexander Vl played the European colonisation of foreign lands. He issued the papal bull called "Inter Caetera" on 4th May 1493 basically paving the way and authorising European monarchs to legally invade heathen n saracen lands in the name of God and converting them to their perverted brand of Christianity, enslaving them and stealing all their wealth, land n propery. And so it was and became the norm. Those unscrupulous British overstayed their welcome by more than 400 years and corrupted everything in their wake. They initially came on the pretext of trade n commerce but deep beneath that facade was the expansion of empire for Queen n country, that was indeed their long term goal. Their rule in Bharat is synonymous with theft, subjugation, exploitation and slavery. They cleverly used their cunning n guile of their class based feudal system to manipulate and cause further division in the India caste system to further their economic gains. Today, India still suffers not from PTSD but from PISD .. Post Independence Stress Disorder, compounded by the other evil that is corporate America. India has sold it's great spiritual soul willingly it seems for corrupt Western materialist values. Back to Sanatana Dharmic ways.
Hinduism was not only inwards but also taken seriously in ancient times . A king who could hold dharma was only chosen by public. And by holding dharma , means made sure that the people of his land follow Hinduism not just in practice sense or spiritual sense , but also study, apply and pass on the scriptures and what ever is written in those scriptures. If it was only inward spirituality, then how could we have such large contours of Indian subcontinent maintaining similar values, structure, culture etc

Rajiv, I have just recently discovered you and watched a bunch of your videos. I was completely ignorant what the west / christianity was doing to hinduism. i was born "muslim", became agnostic in my childhood, investigated christianity, first literal/fundamentalist approach (letter over anything) then i concluded that esoteric, figurative/metaphorical interpretation is where its at.. this then led me to discover that "salvation" is not what it is.. Adam & Eve fell due to having had sex. They "ate" from the "forbidden fruit" (sexual organs/orgasm) placed at the "midst of the garden" (center of the human body). Eating according to Proverbs 30:20 is sex. So, to undo this issue, you need to stop eating. This leads to celibacyc or brahmacharya. There is a parable of the 10 virgins seeking to enter the "kingdom of God", which the mythical (not literal) Christ said is within us. 5 were unwise because they had no "oil" in their "lamps" when the king came in the night and they had to find him. oil = sexual essence, in other words, they were not celibates. Christ talked about no marriage in heaven. St Paul said to "pray unceasingly until the mind of Christ is come unto you". When Jesus talked about prayer, he said this - "go into thine [closet], shut thine [door] and pray in [silence]". The very same Jesus also said "destroy this temple and i will raise it in 3 days" by which he was referring to his own body and not literally to any temple. From this, one should understand that the previous message to go within the closet, is not about a literal closet also. Jesus in fact taught meditation - to go within, shut the senses and achieve non-movement (silence) mentally and physically. "Stand still for a while and know that I AM (is) God". And then there is the great identity of the biblical God - his name is supposed to be "I AM". When asked who he is, when Moses went up the "mountain" (head/meditation) and asked "God" for a name to be able to give a response to his people, God told him his name a second time, because he had already introduced himself, he stated: "I am that I AM". When Moses went down, and this is not explicitly written in the bible, what did he respond with when asked for the identity of God ~ "Hey Moe, who is God?". He said...... "I am". Christ said the same thing: "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." This is basically referring to non-dual (advaita) awareness achieved in deep meditation. When duality perception, the worst of which is self vs non-self is broken, when the borders vanish and one perceives all as one, one realizes that one self is "God". there is nothing but that One thing. Hence, when Paul said to pray (meditate) unceasingly, he was awaiting for people to receive Christ consciousness (non-dual awareness).. Also back in those times, they were giving initiations in the form of shaktipat to fasten the process artificially! Moses encountering God in the burning bush is also allegorical - the burning bush represents the lit up nervous system, he was literally enlightening physiologically in meditation (prana/chi movement, chakras activating in harmony causing piloerection etc., which many longtime meditators know of). "Most High" represents the True Self or the place deep within meditation. Mountains represent the head or mind... everything is symbolic, metaphorical and allegorical in the bible, without exception. Jesus said that everything said and written, is like this, that nothing is literal. In the book of revelation, you have the 7 chakras (seals, candles, bowls, thunders, trumpets)... that book is about awakening, actually, its not to be interpreted literally, nothing IS, according to what Jesus himself said. True salvation or true christinity has 2 elements: - celibacy - meditation until non-dual awareness is reached ERGO - why im writing all of this - christendom is itself already a digestion of vedic ideas. Its not an original invention. The false, modern literal interpretation (salvation by grace through the blood atonement) may be, but in its core, it is vedanta. Just think about it - Jesus was supposedly crucified at the age of "33" in "golgotha". Golgotha, the bible itself says, is a word that means "place of skull". Guess what 33 stands for.. The number of vertebrates of your spine!!! Spine + skull.. then there is this message in the bible: "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up" Kundalini, hello?!?!???!???? Salvation is ONLY through awakening your kundalini (holy spirit) through shaktipat ("laying on hands") + intensive, non-stop meditation and celibacy (oil in your lamp) I think to defeat christianity, you must do what Neo in the movie matrix did with that agent - go inside and destroy it within. and these are the keys - you must be able to show that Christianity is just Vedic thoughts repackaged. It has no identity of its own. The real Jesus was not a christian. Christendom or christianity is a man made concept. The real Christ woke up at 3 o'clock in the morning, "way before sunrise" and went up the mountains to "pray" aka meditate. He was a yogi and he was teaching celibacy + meditation. He was also indiscriminately exercising siddhis, which he shouldnt have. The vedas need to be defended at ALL cost. They are the source of ALL spiritual truths. All religions of the worlds, are inspired or stolen from the vedas. Even buddhism is just an offshoot thereof. If I had only 1 wish, it would be this. Its the most important thing, it is the biggest treasure humanity has or will ever have. No natural resources, no political might, no nothing can rival it in importance or value. So I support your efforts 100%, no, 120%!

Hi, I hope no one minds too much if I share an opinion. Mostly I agree with Mr. Malhotra. Although the fact that some temples don't allow foreigners does actually seem fair. If I am not mistaken it seems there are so many temples that welcome tourists and all types of people entry. Some temples are semi private and really vulnerable and have experienced too many problems such as bad behavior. It is not worth allowing just anyone in to appease those who feel slighted. There are already so many spiritual options. At least that is my understanding.
Rochelle Lisa ~ You are spot on about your view on Mandirs. There are Mandirs in Bharat where women are not allowed at certain point of time. There are Mandirs where men are not allowed. And there are Mandirs where all are allowed, with certain number restrictions depending on the Agama Shastra, the lineage of the Devi/Devata, time & occasion.
Proactively defending the sanatan dharma is actually needed in 21st century because social media has made it easier to tarnish and to propagate false narratives. In the past also scholars used to debunk myths and falsehood about dharma and it's part of our heritage and culture. If a person has knowledge and understanding of dharma he must devote some effort to clear confusion and wrong interpretation. The tradition of Shankaracharya is precisely about doing that and it was started at a time when India was about to be engulfed in the wave of Buddhism and Jainism. The four mathas across the length and breadth of India was established to protect the dharma which was declining at the time.

I think BJP and its aggressive political Hindutva movement was the wakeup call we needed. But now Hindus are awakening, seeking knowledge and finally taking torch forward. We have begun to push back the negativity with recent advertisements, even laws against temples. When we rise together as people and take our rightful place in society the political parties and the state machinery will have to deal with us as an equal. We're asking for a level playing field.
Very refreshing to hear Rajiv ji always. I like the fact he has used Hindu-ness to define Hindutva. That much aside, the whole BS discourse about Hindutva is laughable. In Samskritam the "tva" pratyaya (suffix) expresess the property of being that object. Pustakam is book, pustakatva is the property that makes something a book. In essence, the tva of anything is that object itself, really. Hindutva is Hindu. I dont care if Savarkar started using it or someone else, the discourse around it is asinine. The more we differentiate Hindutva as something different from Hindu, the deeper hole we get into. People are framing Hindutva in the same manner as the Nazis abused the swastik.
The apprehension of being deprived is misplaced. That was the sathanatha dharma only. Why is the BJP dispensation not acting on administration of Hindu temples and reservation? The efforts to change names and retrieving temples are certainly appreciated.

The fist problem started in not doing complete exchange of population after partition. We are paying a price for the mistakes of Gandhi and Nehru 🙄🔥🔥. The second was not recognising the evils of Communism and the Congress let it into the power halls of Delhi. This led to economic and cultural downfall of Bharat after 1947. People like Pavan Varma have a perceptional extreme fear of "Brahmins" which leads them to go soft on Muslims, Christians, communist and rowdys of India🧐🤔.

Truth is one, the Wise call it by many names absolutely does not mean moral relativism. It does not mean that untruth can become truth. It is an affirmation of plurality and pluralism, which is one of the hallmarks of Hinduism.

Quiet an about turn on some issues. Am surprised that Rajivji gives credit for coining the word hindutva to Veer Savarkar. The word was coined in the 19 th century long before Savarkar used it. Also while Hindus committing acts of violence is no doubt wrong he is deafeningly silent about continuing violence against Hindus even in recent times - west Bengal and Bangladesh. Kshatriya means you first and foremost stand up for yourself and your dharma. While emulating vedic dharma seems good in theory we need to remember that we unfortunately do not live in the vedic world. Vedic dharma works only when everyone involved follows dharma.

There is already a video in this channel on a discussion whether we should move towards presidential system. In my opinion that discussion was very clumsy and didn't highlight the pros and cons of both the system very clearly. Being extremely passive is not a virtue, it is self-destructive behavior. it did not serve us well, Indian history has shown that. Tharoor and the leftists would not say a word about that. Hinduism and the Hindu culture are not going to survive too long in India. I'm also against reservations for people below a certain economic level.
Mainly because, in India, unfortunately the corruption levels are beyond every possible limits.
For example, the state government reserved plots / flats, for people with economic backward class, are allocated to certain well politically connected rich people or well off people.
Reservations could be for DESERVING STUDENTS, who's parents cannot afford the fees.

Firstly, India is a post modern colonial English term for what was traditionally known by the indigenous Vedic population as Bharat. It came to be called India, because it was considered by the western invaders as the land East of the river Indus.
Secondly, the marauding of these native peoples started with the Mughal invasion around 1526 under Babur and Islam grew considerably over the next 200 or so years and since.
About that time, came the first wave of colonisation and Christian evangelisation by the Europeans.. the Portuguese, the Dutch, French, n the conniving English around 1600 with their charter to trade from Queen Elizabeth l.
Here it is crucially important to understand the part the Catholic Church and it's head, pope Alexander Vl played the European colonisation of foreign lands.
He issued the papal bull called "Inter Caetera" on 4th May 1493 basically paving the way and authorising European monarchs to legally invade heathen n saracen lands in the name of God and converting them to their perverted brand of Christianity, enslaving them and stealing all their wealth, land n propery.
And so it was and became the norm.
Those unscrupulous British overstayed their welcome by more than 400 years and corrupted everything in their wake.
They initially came on the pretext of trade n commerce but deep beneath that facade was the expansion of empire for Queen n country, that was indeed their long term goal.
Their rule in Bharat is synonymous with theft, subjugation, exploitation and slavery.
They cleverly used their cunning n guile of their class based feudal system to manipulate and cause further division in the India caste system to further their economic gains.
Today, India still suffers not from PTSD but from PISD .. Post Independence Stress Disorder, compounded by the other evil that is corporate America.
India has sold it's great spiritual soul willingly it seems for corrupt Western materialist values.

Hinduism was not only inwards but also taken seriously in ancient times . A king who could hold dharma was only chosen by public. And by holding dharma , means made sure that the people of his land follow Hinduism not just in practice sense or spiritual sense , but also study, apply and pass on the scriptures and what ever is written in those scriptures. If it was only inward spirituality, then how could we have such large contours of Indian subcontinent maintaining similar values, structure, culture etc

Rajiv, I have just recently discovered you and watched a bunch of your videos. I was completely ignorant what the west / christianity was doing to hinduism.
i was born "muslim", became agnostic in my childhood, investigated christianity, first literal/fundamentalist approach (letter over anything) then i concluded that esoteric, figurative/metaphorical interpretation is where its at.. this then led me to discover that "salvation" is not what it is..
Adam & Eve fell due to having had sex. They "ate" from the "forbidden fruit" (sexual organs/orgasm) placed at the "midst of the garden" (center of the human body). Eating according to Proverbs 30:20 is sex.
So, to undo this issue, you need to stop eating. This leads to celibacyc or brahmacharya.
There is a parable of the 10 virgins seeking to enter the "kingdom of God", which the mythical (not literal) Christ said is within us.
5 were unwise because they had no "oil" in their "lamps" when the king came in the night and they had to find him.
oil = sexual essence, in other words, they were not celibates.
Christ talked about no marriage in heaven.
St Paul said to "pray unceasingly until the mind of Christ is come unto you".
When Jesus talked about prayer, he said this - "go into thine [closet], shut thine [door] and pray in [silence]".
The very same Jesus also said "destroy this temple and i will raise it in 3 days" by which he was referring to his own body and not literally to any temple.
From this, one should understand that the previous message to go within the closet, is not about a literal closet also.
Jesus in fact taught meditation - to go within, shut the senses and achieve non-movement (silence) mentally and physically.
"Stand still for a while and know that I AM (is) God".
And then there is the great identity of the biblical God - his name is supposed to be "I AM". When asked who he is, when Moses went up the "mountain" (head/meditation) and asked "God" for a name to be able to give a response to his people, God told him his name a second time, because he had already introduced himself, he stated: "I am that I AM".
When Moses went down, and this is not explicitly written in the bible, what did he respond with when asked for the identity of God ~ "Hey Moe, who is God?".
He said...... "I am".
Christ said the same thing:
"At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you."
This is basically referring to non-dual (advaita) awareness achieved in deep meditation. When duality perception, the worst of which is self vs non-self is broken, when the borders vanish and one perceives all as one, one realizes that one self is "God". there is nothing but that One thing.
Hence, when Paul said to pray (meditate) unceasingly, he was awaiting for people to receive Christ consciousness (non-dual awareness)..
Also back in those times, they were giving initiations in the form of shaktipat to fasten the process artificially!
Moses encountering God in the burning bush is also allegorical - the burning bush represents the lit up nervous system, he was literally enlightening physiologically in meditation (prana/chi movement, chakras activating in harmony causing piloerection etc., which many longtime meditators know of). "Most High" represents the True Self or the place deep within meditation. Mountains represent the head or mind... everything is symbolic, metaphorical and allegorical in the bible, without exception. Jesus said that everything said and written, is like this, that nothing is literal.
In the book of revelation, you have the 7 chakras (seals, candles, bowls, thunders, trumpets)... that book is about awakening, actually, its not to be interpreted literally, nothing IS, according to what Jesus himself said.
True salvation or true christinity has 2 elements:
- celibacy
- meditation until non-dual awareness is reached
ERGO - why im writing all of this - christendom is itself already a digestion of vedic ideas. Its not an original invention.
The false, modern literal interpretation (salvation by grace through the blood atonement) may be, but in its core, it is vedanta.
Just think about it - Jesus was supposedly crucified at the age of "33" in "golgotha".
Golgotha, the bible itself says, is a word that means "place of skull". Guess what 33 stands for.. The number of vertebrates of your spine!!!
Spine + skull.. then there is this message in the bible:
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up"
Kundalini, hello?!?!???!???? Salvation is ONLY through awakening your kundalini (holy spirit) through shaktipat ("laying on hands") + intensive, non-stop meditation and celibacy (oil in your lamp)
I think to defeat christianity, you must do what Neo in the movie matrix did with that agent - go inside and destroy it within.
and these are the keys - you must be able to show that Christianity is just Vedic thoughts repackaged. It has no identity of its own.
The real Jesus was not a christian. Christendom or christianity is a man made concept.
The real Christ woke up at 3 o'clock in the morning, "way before sunrise" and went up the mountains to "pray" aka meditate.
He was a yogi and he was teaching celibacy + meditation. He was also indiscriminately exercising siddhis, which he shouldnt have.
The vedas need to be defended at ALL cost.
They are the source of ALL spiritual truths. All religions of the worlds, are inspired or stolen from the vedas. Even buddhism is just an offshoot thereof.
If I had only 1 wish, it would be this. Its the most important thing, it is the biggest treasure humanity has or will ever have. No natural resources, no political might, no nothing can rival it in importance or value.

Hi, I hope no one minds too much if I share an opinion. Mostly I agree with Mr. Malhotra.
Although the fact that some temples don't allow foreigners does actually seem fair.
If I am not mistaken it seems there are so many temples that welcome tourists and all types of people entry.
Some temples are semi private and really vulnerable and have experienced too many problems such as bad behavior. It is not worth allowing just anyone in to appease those who feel slighted.
There are already so many spiritual options. At least that is my understanding.
Rochelle Lisa ~ You are spot on about your view on Mandirs. There are Mandirs in Bharat where women are not allowed at certain point of time. There are Mandirs where men are not allowed. And there are Mandirs where all are allowed, with certain number restrictions depending on the Agama Shastra, the lineage of the Devi/Devata, time & occasion.
If the Great Bhagawan himself takes an avatara every yuga to defend Dharma, then we too must do everything we can to help god.

Dharma doesn't mean religion...Dharma has a broader meaning.
Proactively defending the sanatan dharma is actually needed in 21st century because social media has made it easier to tarnish and to propagate false narratives.
In the past also scholars used to debunk myths and falsehood about dharma and it's part of our heritage and culture.
If a person has knowledge and understanding of dharma he must devote some effort to clear confusion and wrong interpretation.
The tradition of Shankaracharya is precisely about doing that and it was started at a time when India was about to be engulfed in the wave of Buddhism and Jainism.
The four mathas across the length and breadth of India was established to protect the dharma which was declining at the time.

I think BJP and its aggressive political Hindutva movement was the wakeup call we needed. But now Hindus are awakening, seeking knowledge and finally taking torch forward. We have begun to push back the negativity with recent advertisements, even laws against temples. When we rise together as people and take our rightful place in society the political parties and the state machinery will have to deal with us as an equal. We're asking for a level playing field.
If we want to awake Hindus, we should give knowledge at the age of 6 by sanskar classes. It should be done in every village temple.

That much aside, the whole BS discourse about Hindutva is laughable. In Samskritam the "tva" pratyaya (suffix) expresess the property of being that object. Pustakam is book, pustakatva is the property that makes something a book. In essence, the tva of anything is that object itself, really. Hindutva is Hindu. I dont care if Savarkar started using it or someone else, the discourse around it is asinine. The more we differentiate Hindutva as something different from Hindu, the deeper hole we get into.
People are framing Hindutva in the same manner as the Nazis abused the swastik.

Truth is one, the Wise call it by many names absolutely does not mean moral relativism. It does not mean that untruth can become truth.
It is an affirmation of plurality and pluralism, which is one of the hallmarks of Hinduism.

Quiet an about turn on some issues. Am surprised that Rajivji gives credit for coining the word hindutva to Veer Savarkar. The word was coined in the 19 th century long before Savarkar used it. Also while Hindus committing acts of violence is no doubt wrong he is deafeningly silent about continuing violence against Hindus even in recent times - west Bengal and Bangladesh. Kshatriya means you first and foremost stand up for yourself and your dharma. While emulating vedic dharma seems good in theory we need to remember that we unfortunately do not live in the vedic world. Vedic dharma works only when everyone involved follows dharma.

You know for W Bengal, I held the opinion during Left regime that till 1960 - 1980 pass students in Beaurocracy and cabinet of ONLY school / college teachers doesn't go things won't improve.

There is room for dharma to be upheld in Indian politics to take the nation in to the correct course from its current exploitation of santanis by BJP. 100-150 seats of parliament are fed up with disservice of BJP. Please support a new political entity to calibrate BJP/RSS on sanatan agenda with people like Subramaniam Swamy and educated sadhu, sants, mahants and social reformers who align with santan and vedic heritage. Vikaas is not a roadmap to sanatan, especially when islam is allowed to conduct ethnic cleansing of sanatanis, demographic changes in Bengal, Kashmir, Kerala and it is happening with uncontrolled population explosion. This bad behavior is rewarded with free homes, free food, free money!!! These behavior (Socialism) is against dharma.
There is already a video in this channel on a discussion whether we should move towards presidential system. In my opinion that discussion was very clumsy and didn't highlight the pros and cons of both the system very clearly. If you still believe we should aspire for that i think it's high time there should be a short graphical presentation video in this channel like the ones of AI clearly presenting the pros and cons step by step instead of a discussion.

Hindus were subjugated by Islamic invasion and British colonialism for hundreds of years, which happened because of our extreme passiveness and timidity. Hindutva is not Hindu aggressiveness, it is self-defense. Hindus have never invaded other countries. Shashi Tharoor attacks British colonialism vigorously but he never says a word about the Islamic invasion and the aftermath. How many Hindu temples were destroyed? How many Hindus were forcibly converted to Islam? Even today Islamists and Christian missionaries are aggressively and unethically converting many Hindus to their faiths. Tharoor and the leftists would not say a word about that. Hinduism and the Hindu culture are not going to survive too long in India. Unfortunately, we do not have a country of our own, unlike the Christians and Muslims. India is "secular", which is a huge mistake.

A solution that will bring order to all these deviations, politically oriented ideological misinterpretations and or even foreign nexus manipulation... is for the Law to pass all executives powers to the department of defense with full control of ministries like Foreign Affairs, Commerce, Communication, Medical and Education and Finances too.
The rest of ministries, the ruling party can manage and more social welfare and wellbeing for local and foreign nationals equally and deservingly.
