I remember back in TBC my guild was pushing through Black Temple and we got to the Illidari Council we needed to use Noggenfogger for this encounter. The reason was that our Mage tank was a gnome and to get in range to steal the Mage Council member's buff, he'd just face pull and mess it up. So he'd drink some til he turning into the skeleton, which resized his hit box so he could get in range and position without face pulling the entire Council.
Noggenfogger was also used heavily by mages in ZG to help make one of the jumps while mounted (for solo farm/boosting) as it lasted longer than the mage free fall spell.
I remember my guild doing something where we all had to do wall jumps to get somewhere, and all the gnomes and night elves got stuck at the same part. When we gave them noggenfogger, they were able to pass through right away. I had no idea the hitboxes (view boxes?) were actually different sizes until that day hehe. Kinda neat.
@@pimketss Yeah, but if you do the crocs and tiger part while mounted it's much faster and easier to keep lead distance. If you cast slow fall you are dismounted and can't mount back up because of agro. So the time difference of Noggenfogger makes it trivial to pull. Still need a slow fall or two later though.
I had a lot of twink characters back in the day and they were super fun for me being able to slap a lot of kids in the open world. "Fun is not created or destroyed, only transfered" :D good video
Pretty in cata or MOP i had a level 1 rogue who had close to 100% dodge, think it was bc of crazy agility enchants but id be dueling like level 30 warriors and just slowly poke them to death
8:51 I remember getting the Ankh of life and feeling like such a badass. I was like 10 and I thought it was insanely overpowered. Lol. Saved my ass in many fights and pvp too!
I HATE the net-o-matic. Almost EVERYTIME I use it, it backfires and nets me for like 30s. As a hunter in SoM, I can't ever being myself to using it in PvP anymore since it's always backfired and I get to watch as warriors just put me thru the meat grinder
@@R3dux7933 I agree. While i still watched and enjoyed this video as i do with any hirumaredx video i kept asking myself if I'd already seen this exact video before as I'm sure I've already heard hiru talk about probably every single item on this list before at least once
You talked about the Magic Dust, But you did not talk about the Magic Candle. Which is like a Mage Fireball. anyone can use it, and anyone can farm for it. But, I don't think either drops anymore in retail, not sure on that, but i haven't got one to drop in years.
The 6 Demon Bag is a reference to the John Carpenter film "Big Trouble in Little China", and it was worn by the "street-sorcerer" Egg-Shen, in his battle against evil undead sorcerer Lo-Pan.
Also good for mining/herbing if you have a tendency to blindly walk off of cliffs, or any "hold my beer and watch this" situation when you don't have somebody with a res around
I loved Noggenfogger for the shrink effect (it makes you look ridiculous), but it seems like that effect is relatively rare--the skeleton and slow fall effects are far more likely.
I knew magic dust was gonna be the num 1 spot from the get go. I remember I used to kill every single elemental I saw in westfall while leveling. Also I was expecting Light of Elune to be here as well but I guess its not really that good since it a one time use.
I used to farm really sticky glue back in vanilla. Haven't played classic so don't know if they allowed it on that one, but it was great for pvp back in the day. In fact it actually helped me obtain Grand Marshal.
I'm surprised Ravager from Herod SM-Armory is not an honorable mentioned for warriors, easily the most OP weapon for AOE chain pulls for dungeon and even in raids as well.
Another one-time use but alliance only item. I actually got good use out of it in vanilla. Whole raid wiping to ragnaros at 1% but I'm last one alive, no better time for my night elf druid to use Light of Elune and rag had just low enough hp to finish it off. Felt great
Uh I see that Dartol's Rod of Transformation is not on this list. Sure the other items have cool stat improvements but nothing cooler than the drip of being a furbolg.
I actually don't think Skull of Impending Doom is good. Yeah it has the speed buff and damage component to break out of CC, but that doesn't do you any good if you lose 2k hp to use it, which can happen.
@@doitenzankburg That's not what I did here though. I like this content, I just don't like playing the game anymore, and don't think it's worth paying for. That’s genuinely amazing lol. Got a good laugh.
Necessity creates genius. thats pretty smart that you guys even figured that out
i actually used the marbles during naxx progression vs patchwerk. it managed to land and help us clear him for the first time
Same here! I saved mine for that and it was well worth it.
Landed mine on Chromag one a difficult combo for my group. Worked great lol

expensive, since slow fall can be recast while active.

marbles was so bloody useful on our first cpl patchwork kills
hahaha, that's amazing.
I still have some on my very first character from Vanilla.
I remember using noggenflogger until it made my Tauren larger, then stacking it with winterfal firewater and elixer of giant growth.
Noggenfogger elixir can't make you taller, The only effects it has are shrinking,Skeleton and slow fall.
@@jamessherlock6912 that's right, it's been a while, forgot it was shrinking, not enlarging
i can guarantee we used marbles on patchwerk and it helped especially under 20%
Thankyou for still making these videos!
After a hard day of grinding Iove to watch your vids
Bag of marbles worked every time I used it in naxx on patchwork. Very op
Yep same here
Don't forget the Light of Elune item from Ashenvale. Makes you immune to all damage and spells for 10 seconds. One time use but so good.
I was fully expecting this to be #1 on the list
Light* of Elune
I seriously love these videos. Brings back so many good memories. Thank you man.
Have you done a video on crazy twink equipment that was available at way lower levels than they should be?

Honestly I don't care about Classic WoW at all, but damn I like your videos.
What sound track are you using in the background? It’s super soothing
Awesome video! Perfect timing.
I was today years old when I learned about that Crystal Grenade item. Even with a max stack of 20 that's awesome for warrior tanks.
Tidal Charm was always fun!
Maybe a video on useful unknown quests or unknown secrets in dungeons next!
Really sticky glue was really usefull for vashjs' striders
six demon bag is a reference to big trouble in little china
Top 10 useful items, you have all sold long time ago. :D
I loved my Barov Peasant Caller, and kept it in my bags for decades... *until Blizzard literally removed it from my bags.*
How?
I forgot all about that item! I use to bring it every where.
The 6 Demon Bag is a reference to the John Carpenter film "Big Trouble in Little China", and it was worn by the "street-sorcerer" Egg-Shen, in his battle against evil undead sorcerer Lo-Pan.
Why not the Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether? 10% chance to self-rez... useful for lv60 PvP, raiding, and even just questing...
Also good for mining/herbing if you have a tendency to blindly walk off of cliffs, or any "hold my beer and watch this" situation when you don't have somebody with a res around

Same. When I played WoW I was pretty much always either in Tiny mode, or Skeleton mode hehe.
I really think Swifty should be credited for number 10 for breaking PvP cc.
Someone once asked me "what is Noggenfogger" I changed his life forever.
The six demon bag is actually a reference to the movie "big trouble in little china" :D
Sur the Six Demon Bag is on the sixth spot because of the RNG factor... And totally not a clever joke. I see you Hiru
Have you lost your marbles? Make an alliance character.
Ablete? Lol keep throwing these in man
Albeit: a synonym for although
Keep up the great videos!
Hydrocane is a useful one.. underwater breathing. I still actually carry it and occasionally use it all these years later.
That's kind of romantic, in its own way.
This would have been super useful 3 years ago!
Spoiler alert, the number 1 item is pocket sand
Let the Horde have the Rune trinket. Ally have Pallies and smoke em in organized PvP and PvE.
you should do this video but for WOTLK

I used to farm really sticky glue back in vanilla. Haven't played classic so don't know if they allowed it on that one, but it was great for pvp back in the day. In fact it actually helped me obtain Grand Marshal.
I think you are remembering the murloc nets maybe. Glue was 1 time only but nets were farm farmable for a while
nice
Is this a reposted video? O.o?
Wait you telling me the HEADS of the quest gives have a 4% to NOT drop?!
Those stats are player reported, so they are just an approximation
I think Wowhead tracks loot by npc kills and not by quest. So the number means 4% of people that looted it with wowhead addon did not have the quest
Wait are they releasing classic wow AGAIN?? I don't understand why you are remaking this video.
I'm surprised Ravager from Herod SM-Armory is not an honorable mentioned for warriors, easily the most OP weapon for AOE chain pulls for dungeon and even in raids as well.
