It was lovely to see inside the Coolcrafting shop in Kendal! I understand the feelings of embarrassment at doing a video inside a shop but hopefully it will get easier… I still feel a bit self-conscious doing that but most people are very happy to oblige - so far I have only come across one grumpy shop assistant in a wool shop on the Isle of Arran!! 😂Looking forward to hearing more about your van trip - Lindisfarne and Whitby are two of my favourite places and Skye is beautiful too. We’re just preparing to go on our next van trip… x

It was lovely having that sneak peep into the Cool Crafting shop. I would love to go, but haven’t yet. I often see their stand at Knitting and Stitching shows. Their products are delightful, but a bit expensive for me. I do have 3 of the books and that’s enough for my creative outlet.
I wouldn't be embarrassed about them seeing you take photos, I'm sure I've seen others do the same, they'll be used to it . Your embroidery is gorgeous, I got that book too.
I really enjoyed seeing your visit to coolcrafting. I would love to visit but it's a long drive for us at around 4 hours. Maybe one day! I have just ordered Orla and Ava and some felt to make Wilhelmina. I have all 4 of the books and lots of the kits too but I'm ashamed to say that I have only made Luna and Dora so far. Like you, I enjoy lots of different crafts, so I have plenty to choose from when the urge hits 😂😂 See you next time ❤

I giggled at the picture you painted of the pair of you and Shane mucking about outside the shop 🤭 only to find out you'd been seen!! Rest assured i reckon Sarah Peel and her colleagues had a good ol' giggle too 😂 Perhaps you need a couple of gregarious chatty pals to act as distractions in the shop whilst you carry on filming selfconsciousely !! I really liked the two little rabbits pattern you bought and i hope thier dresses fit your veg-head characters!! Clover 🧄 can have a new maternity frock 😂 Ooh and you could make a dress in calico, like a victorian countryman's smock, for a mangelwurzel man next!!!! Funny tho, in the food emoji selection i just couldn't find a mangold 🤔 i wonder why not?! 🤣🤣🤣 I hope your laundry pile has shrunk now, great drying weather! See you soon for part two 👍🏻

Mangolds or mangelwurzels are a root veg grown for cattle feed (not so much nowadays) and not dissimilar to sugar beet!! All four sugar factories in the UK are in the East, one near me at Newark but you got the other three in Norfolk! Right next door 😄 You must be knee deep in them!! And very sweet too 😌🤭☺️🍬🍭🍬🍭🍬🍭

That shop looks lovely…..tempting to make an animal, but like you with seaweed…..no! Rest assured that your filming was pretty steady and not too fast, I thought you gave a good idea of the shop and its products.
