I’m sure you’ve heard this before but the addition of flashbacks into your videos way back when was an amazing content choice and I still love it to this day. It’s especially highlighted here. It’s awesome seeing your current strategy and then seeing how you had died previously and how it had affected the current updated strat. That’s further emphasized by you talking about what you want to change and why as you’re dying. Always loved the change, please keep it going, I thoroughly appreciate that added effort 🖤
To be honest, I really thought he was just completing these runs successfully on the first try since I never get to watch your stream. Definitely humanizes the journey a bit.
@@theonetruejeremywestsame thing with showing 17 retries at the end- makes it marginally less frustrating for my own play through, knowing someone of this calibre struggles with this map too
5 pulls into the train. Nice. My solution to regular 800% lowlands was a lot less glamorous.... that being to take a ranger (ideally non-veteran), have them pull the side that isn't holding, and run them as far away from the colony as is possible. Worked like a charm. Also proved quite useful for the valley of death. Some of you may die... but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
I have never played this game and I most likely never will, but I watched a lot of these a couple of years ago because I just enjoyed them a lot. Very nice to see you still doing it, you seem to enjoy it :)
I refused to do this mission without the second gold income upgrade for the train. It becomes somewhat balanced (ish) when I can start spamming soldiers out without gold issues…though I play on 800%, not 1600%. Kensei is just a beast.
Congrats dude! What makes this map so difficult is the sheer number of zombies and how small the map is. The train tracks are annoyingly placed. There are way too many executives. And your command centre starts "danger close" to the north-west/west. Also you can't use any hi-tech as it takes too long to get up and running. On 1600%??? Insane! 👍👍
Although you're an incomparably better player than me, and I still took 4 or 5 attempts, while pausing and animation cancelling, and without your mod that makes it even more ridiculously hard, your flashbacks still made me feel a little better about myself.
A map where anything that makes any noise means death :D Well, this one and Narrow Pass. Others are easier. I made it through by some miracle on 800% - built 2 shock towers to the north and north-east almost at the same time, with all of my rangers to the south trying to micro and slow down the tide. Shock towers pulled all of the map to them and I lost my rangers exactly at the time when the third tower was built. Then the map cleared itself on my towers.
There's at lest one stage in the campaign where the final wave just continues and continues, the intention being to destroy you if you don't get the victory condition soon. If it's this stage, then surviving the last wave is not an option.
this is usually the last mission I do, up to the land of the giants or how is that first fifth level area called, with multiple giants - and a swarm in front of it, 30k of them. The second one I postpone the most is narrow pass. for me, this mission is hardest one, and every time I beat the map, I am not sure how I did it :) mostly luck

It's always great to hear what people like and a good reminder that it's worth the extra effort. So thank you!
@@KenseiTV of course! 🖤 I’m happy to voice my appreciation

Only good thing about this map is when you lose, you lose early rather than some BS happening day 40 or something.
The main BS is that this map is difficulty level 2
This way you have more time to lose again

If it works it works! You found your own solution, that's awesome.
That's a lot of flashbacks, wow...
Great tense exciting episode!
The Zombies had it out for me
Train MVP
43:08 Shocking tower mvp 😁

Welcome back!

_“A __-wizard-__ train is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.”_ 🚂
Great job pulling this one off, Kensei!
Thank you for sharing, more power to you
Thank you too
I suck at this game. Doing a 300% campiagn, died 4 times today at this map. A step forward a second too soon and it all goes down the drain.
Secret of this map Is going west of the water First
Congrats dude!

Just like the saying of old: If at first you don't succeed, try another 17 times.
Just one more try. It'll get better next time!
Without zombie health bars this map would be unmanageable.
Amazing job! One thing to remember, you can disband archers for workers if you stand them near a soldier center.
Now that was "crazy". Well done Kensei. :)
Thanks! 😄
This mission is a textbook definition of inching forward.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching
Це найгірша в плані проходження мапа, просто біль і сльози, респект Кенсею!!!
I treat narrow pass and the lowlands as difficulty 4 maps on my 800% so I do them after completing all diff 2 and 3 missions.
That's the smart choice
The flashbacks are nice. Learning lessons. Also, playing this without the help of traps is just next level.
perseverance prevails :)
I've been playing this for years and I never thought about clearing with the train on Lowlands
300 hours in the game, 900% campaign, many custom maps, and just today I learned you can wall the train with a gate.
Easily the hardest mission. I especially appreciate the flashbacks for this map.
49:19 on normal apocalypse you can beat this before second wave but I doubt its doable without pause on 1800% 😂
Masterpiece
43:10 Holy crap was that close.
Uhm.. Calculated!
train-kun doing work for the protagonist for once

5 Attempts on Lowlands is really good either way!
Not a very peaceful lowlands apparently, but a very wicked one. 😂
It's peaceful now 😄
So many zombies 😮
Holy flashbacks 😂 well done!! That early game is soooo harddd!
It really is!

Nice ranger micro
Thanks

No there isn't, all the wave stop at some point, but they can look infinite
Oh god... Oh no... Oh god... I need a therapy right now.

Seventeen retries, holy.
make soldiers
What do the green tiles represent?
Forests
nice
I hate this mission more than any other, I died here 100 times before I won...
17 retries... Yikes
Secret of this map is claim the west first, its small populated, you can clean it with just 3 rangers

Sunday's awesomeness!!
Have a nice sunday!
