@Chuck Norris if you are talking about "technical" playing, sure. In that case EV will top Ross. But no one beats RTB in terms of compositional abilities. Karl's and Dave's riffs are no where close to what RTB wrote.
Halfway through the solo I was thinking "damn, doesn't sound too bad, and he's not doing that stupid over-under gimmick on the neck of the guitar like in every other solo so far". I started writing this comment and lo and behold, he did the stupid gimmick in the last 5 seconds of the solo....
Almost every show with MAB has sloppy solos now, wtf is going on? And really he doesn't play original solos as well. These Sawtooth guitars are garbage as well, when he does his TH-cam videos he every time advertise them it's so annoying. Really dissapointed, because I saw him in 2015 with band and it was great.

What hurts is he will replace very melodic phrases from the original solos with his over/under. The day he learns it all will be extremely epic!
