Fuckkkkkk bro…. Yeah. I just ordered my midi earlier. Went to my first rave and then my first festival this year and probably been to 20 shows total since July now…. Seen hundreds of bands live before in all genres but this and this culture was something that I never knew I needed, and fell madly in love immediately. Seeing a few artists out there like Crankdat, celestial void, sippy, Sullivan king, Vastive behind the booth camera view in various posts on insta generates this INSANE feeling in me that I’ve never felt before. I’ve always felt music but instruments never spoke to me… but watching those people do their thing, I feel it throughout my body. It’s crazy that this is a feeling and it feels like the absolute greatest feeling in the world doing what they do.
I have to learn to focus. I have to learn to give myself grace. I have to learn to not get so distracted to avoid what I know I want to learn and need to learn, but am too overwhelmed to do so. I have to do this for me and maybe this will be my calling to greatness.
What better lifestyle than to impact crowds of people giving them the absolute best time of their lives that no one will forget? This just hits me hard
Thank you for your comment friend. I hope you’re well out there

dude you've helped me so much with daws and just making music in general. Once I get more comfortable with the basics like using custom loops and mixing them into a nice arrangement with a drum beat I've made, I'm planning on trying to make my own sounds to use in songs. But I need to get more comfortable with the basics first. Thank you for taking your time and helping people out because you do an excellent job at it.

I was able to get the grooves to work somewhat. I just couldn't edit them. But what I did is when you click in the clip, you can still see a spot for groove. Just click the hot-swap button, which should pull up some various grooves. I'm using Live Lite 10 and was able to find the one he used in this tutorial, and then you can hit commit to have the groove applied. I just couldn't modify the velocity.

Just a little tip for other users for viewing the videos. I always download the tutorials, with this site: onlinevideoconverter.com
Than use pot player to view them ( download: potplayer.daum.net/ )
I have configured pot player that double clicking means skip backwards a few seconds. Which is very handy, if you quickly want to repeat a part which was going to fast.
And I have activated view thumbnails while scrolling timeline.
After using VLC for many years I switch recently to Pot Player, because of the thumbnails, something what's not possible with VLC. And I'm very happy I did, Pot Player is much more flexible than VLC and has a more modern interface.
